But when I download movie to my PC, it don't require password and therefore not DRM protected.

As for typing in your password every time you try to stream a clip, that's just a security measure that most dedicated servers have. You wouldn't notice this if you used the function of Internet Explorer that remembers your site passwords. With this option enabled, you never have to type in a password on a site again once you've visited it once.
