I personally love Hegre' site (of course). I don't think of his site or Met Art or Galitsin-News or Vulis Archives or any of the others of this caliber as "porn". If anything, I think of it as "erotica". But, I don't think you have to look askance at Hegre because of his self-promotion methods. I barely noticed it and just reviewed it as any other site. At this point, I can afford not to like a site even if they are giving away freebies. 
What I loved about Hegre was his artistry -- especially apparent in his photos of Luba. There is always a certain romantic element that you capture when you are photographing one that you love; and Hegre did this beautifully and these photos in particular put me in awe of his work. I have reviewed several artistic nude sites (and I think Hegre's is the one that I had the most criticism for -- only for his sometimes too skinny models), but I refuse to play favorites. There are a select handful that are VERY talented at artistic nudes and i felt that Hegre is one of them. If you're looking for straight porn, then this site is not one for you, but if you are maybe looking for something a little less explicit and "rough", then Hegre is perfect. For me, these are not photos that I would jack off too, they are the ones that I would stop and admire the shadows and the way the light plays across the body and the overall sensuality. |

This is not a porn site as I understand the term. Too softcore - too frustrating. Fine art? I perceived more artistic sensibility in the work of Abby Winters, without the pretentious self-glorification - and with the porn. (As the pornliving.com review of Hegre notes: "One thing that turned me off a bit when I read it was a whole page that I call "The Pay-Off Page" that actually tries to bribe any members of the print or electronic media with free memberships in exchange for positive write-ups of Hegre-Archives, even to the point of providing them with the copy!") Explains the universal good reviews? Who knows. But if I'd read something like this, I'd have saved my money - I cancelled in days. Pretty interesting opinion. Thank you PetePrice! I've seen hundreds adult pay sites from their both sides [inside and outside of members area], and I think, this one of the best softcore sites. Yes, I agree, this is not a porn site, and Hegre too like self promotion, and may be we can find even better softcore sites on the Net. But Hegre's site one of the finest glamour sites at this moment. |

PetePrice, if we will consider only real hardcore porn sites we just should drop many sites: foot fetish, bikini babes, many single models softcore sites, etc. As soon as site about sexual desires of any kind (even food fetish) it will reviewed here. And yes, most of them consist hardcore content. This is why we named this site "Porn Inspector". Unfortunately we can't open separate sites for each niche, say SoftcoreInspector, AnalInspector, GaySexInspector, etc. |

What one considers porn and what another considers porn are often two different things. Some people would consider any photo or video with even mild nudity "porn", but I would disgree. In my rreview, I called Hegre's site "artistic nudes" and "erotica" several times. I don't believe I have to shout throughout my review "This is not porn!" for most people to understand what the site is and what it is not. You won't see any ass gaping and messy cumshots in Hegre's site, but I think most reasonable people could glean that from my review. Thanks for your input about the reviews. We're always interested in finding out what our readers think of the reviews and of the sites that we have reviewed. Did you happen to join Hegre's site? if so, what did you think of it? |
