Videosz certainly delivers on the categories Site Promises, Site Usability, Content Amount, Content Quality, and Update Frequency. What it fails miserably at is the “Customer Support/Contact Page.” I personally had two different problems with the site, i.e., downloading videos and the site constantly requesting that I log-in again after only 10-15 minutes of activities. Five requests for customer support were ignored each time. This resulted in using three different browsers, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, to access the site and maintain some measure of control. Their non-response means to me is that any problem the user experiences on the site is the individual’s responsibility. I certainly will not renew my membership.

Not impressed: max dowload speed was 40KB/s, with spur at 80. Not usable. Videos are good quality though. Pity. |

There are some good videos here-but these same videos can be found on plenty of other sites-not that I've joined plenty of other sites, just that I've seen the same sample clips and titles listed elsewhere. Beyond that, two words: DRM sucks. It seemed that most of the newer content to be put up on the site was DRM tagged, meaning once I cancelled my membership, I could no longer view the videos I had downloaded. That sucks and Videobox is cheaper, so why bother with these folks? |
