The members area at does a great job of maintaining the energy and the feel of the tour; the distinctly traditional oriental decor combined with simple to use, but powerful, navigation tools makes for a browsing experience that feels like second nature. The main menu contains all the options bare necessities, while a more user-specific menu allows you to access an update calender, private message center, a newsfeed, and your own personal collection of "favorites." And, if all else fails, their "advanced search engine" just a click away.

Confident I could safely navigate the site without injury, I made a beeline for that "Movies" button. As it turns out, there's 680 scenes on the site, with new ones being added at fairly regular intervals, averaging out to around a new scene every 3-5 days. It should be emphasized that, since the site's first update in late-2011, the flow of updates has remained amazingly steady. The photo galleries come in at an identical rate, too. So, if a proven track record is important to you, you can go ahead and toss that concern aside.

Asian Candy Shop's earliest updates seemed to focus on the debauched adventures of a small group of attractive, seemingly inseparable Asian women: Mintra, Kanda, Nicha, and Patti. The fearsome foursome could be seen engaging in your standard glam shoots, but also going into darker territory — sometimes with each other, sometimes with male assistance. The fellas are usually 20-30 year old Caucasian, well-hung, and not afraid to get get really rough with those small, often delicate Asian pussies. In fact, I just finished watching a M.M.F. threesome where the brutes, who seemed willing to spit on everything in the room, seemed unable — perhaps unwilling? — to produce any saliva for poor Kanda's ass hole. But as crude as all that may sound, their filming practices are anything but. Shoots are elaborate, featuring slick editing and smooth camera work you might expect from a high production porno, but without the cheesy music or wretched dialogue.

But as it turns out, the video quality makes perfect sense. The scenes themselves are 100% originals, taken from feature-length adult films created under their own production house. You'll find titles like Asian Knob Noshers and Pussyplay 4. Browsing by DVD in the main menu reveals a page a full plot synopsis, run-time, and links to all of the clips. Sadly, though, it doesn't contain that feature-length file. If you want the full DVD, you can either rent it($1.95 for 48 hours) or buy a permanent download($19.99).

I also can't say I was all that happy with the actual video quality which, in spite of production values, doesn't have the resolution of bitrate to compete in a world where 720p and 1080p HD is common place. Perhaps even worse, we're only given that single resolution for the viewing and downloading of all scenes on the site. Simply put, even though updates are being steadily churned out, it seems there's no noticeable evolution — in terms of raw video quality, anyway.

I was similarly letdown by the model index. I had high hopes, seeing what had started as a small group had grown into nearly 40 women. On the surface, it looked great. The actual contents of the pages, however, left a lot to be desired. Sometimes basic vital statistic fields are left blank. Most disheartening, though, is the fact that "about me" or "bio" portion of the page is always empty. One can only hope they remedy this in the future, as I'm sure the members would like to know a bit more about these beauties. Or perhaps it's intentional? Perhaps to keep add a little mystery? Either way, I think I'd prefer a little info over none.

But how about we end on a positive note? The galleries here are surprisingly good considering they were almost glossed over in the tour. For whatever reason, this is the area that, going in, I expected the least from. So I was pleasantly surprised to find galleries not only housed a moderately high-res default resolution, but also links to ZIPs containing versions of the gallery in three separate resolutions, going all the way up to 1,600 pixels. In fact, my only compliant would be there seems to be a high occurrence of redundant images(usually toward the middle of the set) in the overwhelming majority of galleries featured thus far on the site. However, the images aren't identical, nor are they frequent enough to be more than a mildly obnoxious.
