Bangkok Bangers

We are welcomed to the ‘temple of pleasure’ when we log in and the top banner has a distinctly Oriental feel to it, as does the font on the left hand menu which lists the content of the site. Centre stage at this site is a list of kinds of content that you can now access. We have a featured guy and movie of the week, a featured gallery, three reality bonus sites to access, a list of the members’ favourites and a list of recently updated galleries. There are also links to shopping, comic-book and magazine sites. Sounds good doesn’t it, but there’s a catch. None of what I just listed contains even an image of an Asian looking guy so where are they hiding?

Click the XXX Videos link and you come to a page that contains 58 feed sites. These are third party content providers that Bangkok Bangers links in to and none of them have Asian in the title so I’ll have to look more closely at which might conceivably contain the promised ‘hours of videos’ and ‘stunning gay porn videos from Asia’. Ethnic Hunks sounds like it might: I have two choices of viewing speed with dial up and broadband options and there’s a small media player to view the clips on with a full screen option if you want. Yes, there are Asian guys here and there are a lot of clips to view. The ones I saw were three minutes in length and contained all manner of gay sex between two or more smooth Asian lads. The movies were a bit jerky and not great quality in the dial up mode so I tried the Broadband one and these were infinitely better. I started browsing the content that is arranged with three clips per page and got to page 50 (that’s 150 clips so far) and then realised that there were more than just Asian boys here. I got some white military studs (?), black guys, Latinos and Arab boys too. Back to the video feeds page for another search.

This is more like it, ‘Anal Ninjas’ contained 18 videos with two choices of streaming players. I streamed some scenes in Java because I couldn’t get the Quicktime version to run. There was a small screen and a jerky presentation, without sound, that was a bit disappointing even though the guys and the action were hot enough. The videos came with a photo gallery and I had a quick look. I clicked the gallery button and jumped straight into a photo with forward and back buttons and looked at a few – they were screen shots from the video I’d just been watching – but there was no way back to where I’d just been other than using my back button. I finally got back to the video, clicked ‘return to site’ and had to re-enter the feed via the Videos page as I’d been sent to this site and not, as I’d expected, to the list of 18 videos. At which point I gave up on that particular feed and carried on looking.

I couldn’t find any more Asian feeds on that page. I dare say some of the other twink, bear and stud sites might have Asians in them but you’ll need to look around. And that’s what was bugging me about this site, it wasn’t easy to find the Asian content. The tour makes it look like the site is full of, and all about, Asian guys when in fact it’s a collection of feeds and you have to fish around to find the promised Asian content. However, if you like picture galleries then it’s a bit easier. Click the Pictures link on the left for 31 galleries of Chinese, Thai and other Asian guys. There are solo boys and couples in action here and the images are well taken and clear. The other ‘Albums’ link on the menu takes you to a page of more galleries in 17 different genres. The Asian set is the one we’ve just seen and the other categories include Beef Cakes, Military and Twinks, so there’s a lot of variety.

As for the other promises, like the live shows. Well, there is a page of Live Show feeds and you can take a look at some free stuff on them but you’ll need to sign up to get to the sexy, one on one or private shows and I can’t guarantee that there will be Asian guys on show; no doubt there will be some, (he says being charitable). The rest of Bangkok Bangers is made up of arcade games and stories – again not necessarily with an Asian theme.
