City Of Sin 3D

Once logged in I was taken to a tidy membership area with a handy newsfeed up front and center. The first thing that really jumped out at me was that, since the site's launch on July 7th, of 2017, there have been four updates, three of which being expansion packs for the software itself. The latest was less than a month ago, so at least we know that they are still fine tuning this virtual fuck-fest.

Speaking of which, I wasn't really sure what to expect based on the tour page, and as such I was naturally quite excited to dive right in and install the software. Once I did, I experienced gameplay that, for lack of a better comparison, felt like a highly twisted, much more interactive version of The Sims.

After the initial, surprisingly simple setup, I was presented with 8 different characters to play with(10 if you snag the 9/0/5/2017 expansion pack), four females and four males respectively, and, of course, the ability to pair them up with each other. For my initial outing, I decided to couple svelte blonde Carrie with '90s grunge rocker looking Gerard. Once the action commenced, I was greeted by my newly paired lovebirds, half naked and staring at me with mischievous looks. Since I didn't notice any foreplay options on the menu, I decided to get right down to the nitty gritty and choose from one of the six default(again, nine if you add the expansion pack) positions. And from there it was a medley of thrusting, position changes, occasional pressing of the "cum now" button, and the intoxicating sounds of raw, animalistic intercourse. You know, just another day at the office.

So far as gameplay goes, the keys seemed to respond well enough, and everything seemed to do what it was supposed to. I am not sure it was exactly what I expected, though. I realize the tour page described it as a your own virtual avatar interacting with other virtual avatars, and for the most part I would tend to agree with their summation, but ultimately I think that phrasing might be just a tad deceptive. Personally, I felt that the 3rd person perspective and changing camera angles spoke more to my inner voyeur than anything else, and more often than not I felt I more like I was directing a porno than being an active participant in one. So, if you were after a first-person, 100% immersive experience, this may not be the game for you. But don't back off just yet. Given their penchant for regular updates, first-person perspective may very well still be in the cards.

One really cool touch that does, in fact, make City Of Sin 3D extremely immersive and interactive — much more so than a lot of others on the market, in fact — is that it is compatible with both the VStroker and Flixband sex toys, syncing up your thrusts and further intensifying your pleasure once you have pressed the aforementioned "cum now" button. Which means if you are playing the game without the assistance of one these devices, you really aren't getting the full experience — far from it.

So far as graphics are concerned, the game offers a wide range of options. The resolution menu alone gives five different options, ranging from 480p all the way up to your monitor's native resolution(so far as it doesn't exceed 1080p). What's more, there are four different graphics levels: Simple, Good, Beautiful, and Fantastic. If you play to use the latter two, though, you will want a decent CPU and GPU combo, as the lesser systems I tested these on experienced significant frame drops.

So, what are the the not so awesome aspects of this early release game, you ask? Well, for starters, switching from position to position is awkward. Each time you choose a different position from the menu, the camera pans out of view of the couple entirely, only zooming back in on them once they have had a chance to reposition themselves. So, don't expect to see the stud pull his wet cock out or the girl wanly flipping over to accommodate him.

Also, I realize the game is still quite new, and they have, admittedly, gone a long way in enhancing it already by way of those aforementioned add-ons, but after several playthroughs I found myself wanting for a bit more variety. I don't know about you but sometimes I'm feeling extra kinky, and in those situations only a pre-op transgender gal can do the ticket. But given that one of the recent updates allows for you to create your own custom characters, I'd imagine chicks with dicks are just around the corner. I'll certainly be keeping my fingers crossed.

On a similar note, it would be nice if we had more locations to choose from. I mean, that chic bachelor pad is nice and all, but the same location over and over again is going to grow stale, no matter how nice the future or skyline views are.
