Club Pink Velvet , wisely in my opinion, kept things simple when it came to their web-design and navigation. While there are high-quality files and many of the extras that you'd expect from fancier layouts, they've still opted to avoid most of the overtly flashy, often unnecessary, and downright confusing gizmos that usually hinder more than help. In a nutshell, they've provided us with a setup that is simultaneously user-friendly and up to par tech-wise. A wonderful marriage, indeed. I'd also rate it high in the looks department; the predominantly pink color-scheme combined with the subtle hint of a cloudy skyline was a nice touch, and I've gotta commend them for keeping the white to a minimum, as it can be damn hard on the eyes. Especially for a early morning wake-and-jerk-athon.

In keeping with the minimalistic theme, the main menu is quite basic, containing only four choices: Home, Videos, Photos, and a model index. The remainder of the page is populated with links to the latest video and photo updates, as well as a side-bar containing links to the the most viewed and highest rated scenes. Other than the search engine, which is conveniently placed on the top, right-hand corner of the page, there's really nothing else you need concern yourself with. All in all, a very accessible setup for the novice.

After a little careful digging in their archives, I came up with some pretty good numbers. As I write this, there are 551 movies and 665 photo galleries ready and waiting for you to get off to them. The archive itself date back to May of 2009, and since that time they've pumped out updates frequently, averaging around a minimum of 1 update every 4-7 days. The schedule is, at times, quite unpredictable, but one thing you can count on is that the updates will be plentiful. What I mean to say is, I noticed no long gaps between updates. In fact, more often than not they pile them on quite heavily.

Since the main page proudly proclaims that this is "The highest quality lesbian site ever," I figured I'd better start by checking out the talent. So far, they've managed to round up 451 hotties of varying ethnicities, ages, and body-types. As I mentioned earlier, there are some real notable names in the mix, porn stars you've no doubt seen many times before. But there's also a number of unknowns and lesser players, which, in my opinion, gives the content an added boost of realism. I mean, nothing is hotter than seeing some amateur cutie, shy and unsure about everything, diving head-first, quite literally sometimes, into her first lesbian experience.

Often times, the more experienced of the two will assume the dominant role, taking control of the young, submissive little slut. Don't be surprised to find three or more gals in the mix, though, because things often get out of hand here. Conversely, I've seen some rather romantic, softcore type scenes, too. Another area they've dabbled in is foot fetishism, as I noticed more than a few lesbian toe-sucking segments. Light bondage, role-play, and even a little cos-play as incorporated, too. For the most part, however, you can expect straight-up, hardcore lesbian sex, set against a variety of scenic locales and cinematic setpieces. Yes, they've certainly delivered in way of quality and hotness. The fact that they'd venture into such taboo topics as incest, alone, is proof enough of that.

Once you've clicked the "Videos" button on the main menu, you're taken to a series of pages which contain 42 steamy episodes each. The provocative thumbnails supplied have an added bonus. If you hover your mouse over them, you'll get a flash of different points in the flick, painting a fairly decent picture of the action within, and making your decision all the more easier in the process. Not surprisingly, they've went with a minimalistic setup for each video page. As soon as you load one up, a sleek and fast loading embedded flash-player immediately begins playing the chosen scene. TThis may be a little annoying for some of you, but fortunately it can be disabled in the user control panel.

Directly below you'll find a row of download options, usually with four formats to choose from, including Windows Media, DivX, and both single and high-definition MPEG-4 files. The Windows Media and QuickTime files don't seem to have progressed much over the years, maintaining resolutions that, by today's standards, are average at best. The recent addition of the H.D. MPEG files was a real boost, giving them a very well rounded library. Now, some of these files can get quite hefty, particularly the S.D. and H.D. files, but fortunately the average download rate here is 1.1 megs-per-second, which ain't too shabby at all. 500 megabyte files downloaded with ease, and the streaming videos, despite their ample resolution and encoding, played effortlessly. Not a single buffering hiccup.

The galleries, on average, contain around 70 images. They can be viewed in the traditional row of thumbnails method, or, if you'd prefer, via a nifty java slide-show. There's also a drop-down menu to the right of the gallery that lets you choose between 5 different resolution options. The high-end option has a width exceeding 2,000 pixels, which is plenty, if you ask me. The pictures were well shot and lit. If I had any complaint at all, it'd be that sometimes the galleries seemed to have been hastily put together, with no real flow. This isn't frequent enough to be a real bother, however.
