Ebony U

Once signed in I found the same classy images and the same modern, neat design. In fact I found the same pages as I had seen on the tour, and that meant 8 scenes at what is a very new site. And it is a new site with a set of very simple pages. To view a video you click into its viewing page, then click to run the stream or download the file to view at home. But there is one major problem here and that is, you will need to have iTunes installed to download the movie. Not everyone has this of course, although you can easily find and install it, but that is your only choice for downloading.

Which meant that I was left with streaming only. This happens in a decent sized player, and this player comes with a full screen function. Trying this I found the image to be stretched to fit my screen, so not letter box shaped, although the image was clear and the sound was fine. The quality is actually very good here, the guys are visually stunning and the camera-work is professional. Here are no complaints about the 25 minute long videos, they give you a real flavour for each guy, they are well edited together with nice intros. Athletic scenes with the guys running, boxing, working out, and then plenty of time is taken over the shower, the strip, the body views and the sensuous solo jerk off. Everything looks as you’d hope it would look from the tour pages.

There are also those interviews and chats towards the end of each scene, just as the tour promised you so you do find out a little bit about the guys, apart from seeing every inch of them. In that respect the site is doing very nicely, getting you closer to some exclusive ebony guys who are certainly very sexy. It also brings you the images, and I found small sets beneath the streaming player, per guy. Everything about him, his video and gallery is on his one page, which makes navigating the content very easy. Images opened up to 694 x 591 in size, and there were around 16 per set. These images are nicely taken too, collectors’ items you might say. There are some showing the guys running and being athletic, then nude body shots follow and there are some ‘arty’ ones too; it’s a nice mixture.

So, I am impressed with the quality of what is to be found at Ebony U, and I like what they are doing. The exclusive content covers exclusive models who are all good looking and well put together black guys, and there are those nice interviews to go with it. Where I felt the site let me down was with the iTunes only downloads, the lack of viewing choice and the lack of interactivity. I didn’t see, for example, any upload dates or any news on when a new site might be uploaded, when I might meet a new guy, and if you’re paying an on-going monthly fee, you want to know these things. I wasn’t able to get involved either I was a passive member in that respect, I could only view movies and pics as there are no comments or rates. And there is nothing but six scenes and six small photo sets at the moment. I know it’s a new site, and I assume it is going to grow, but it’s currently a bit over-priced for what is currently available.
