Once I'd logged in, I immediately knew I was at the right place. The members area's look could not have been more perfect — from the gritty, graphic novel style banner to the medieval lettering on the menus. Whether you're a fan of the layout or not, though, it'll catch your eye. On the other side of the fence, it really isn't the most cutting edge in terms of navigation tools and what not. But what it lacks in fancy gimzos, it makes up for tenfold in style. Besides, I think this layout is adequate enough for the current archive.

The middle of the page is filled out with links to their erotic fiction, with a nice big teaser image and a lengthy snippet to tease the fuck out of you. The left-hand side of the page contains links to bonus sites, as well as 50 separate galleries with additional photos. Altogether there are 45 stories. I noticed that neither the galleries or stories were date marked. After a little research I found out that they've hardly updated over the course of the last year. This was disheartening, to say the least, but I thought the uniqueness of the theme merited a closer look, regardless.

To be honest, at first I was a little let down with the lack of emphasis on stand-alone drawings. On the left-hand side of the page, right above the bonus sites, were two galleries: Vivid Femdom World and Female Supremacy. At first glance, I thought each image was its own gallery, but I soon found out that wasn't the case. So, maybe that's why I felt a little jipped. In their defense, the images are high-res and look fantastic. If anything, they're a great bonus.

The site's real focus, however, is their collection of steamy, bondage filled short stories. I'm happy to report they're very well done, with excellent descriptive writing with an appropriate touch of dark humor. Word counts range from 500 - 4,500, but I've found the average length to be in the neighborhood of 2,800 words, which is pretty damn meaty for a short. I commend them for sticking to their femdom theme, but they've also managed to sneak in a number of other fetishes and, of course, related niches. Just to give you a taste of some of the yarns I enjoyed during my stay, I'll give you a quick rundown of what I remember experiencing during my stay — brutal strap-on stories, foot worship, interracial, cuckold, and trannies.

Stories also contain an average of 20 drawn illustrations, which range from looking very computer animated to a more old-school, traditional style. They're viewable in a max resolution of 1,200 × 900 pixels, but unfortunately there's no option — at least at the moment. Hint, hint. — for downloading them all in a ZIP file. The great thing about the digital art is, the drawings are quite lifelike. A more recent story, for example, had a white cuckold on his knees in front of a big black bull. On a sidenote, I've noticed the shorter stories have an extra dose of artwork, which really helps balance things out.

The bull's rippling physique glistened with sweat, and the details on the body were great. I'm not going to say it was 100% true to life. It does have a certain video game quality to it, but I think that's all part of the charm. Either way, it's impressive, and that's what counts. But as I said, the stories are the main focus of the site, and all that energy and hard work really shows.

My only complaint — aside from their apparent lack of updates — would be that too many of the stories are in the third person perspective. To get it from the point of view of some of these horrid women, or better yet, from the perspective of the lucky sub, would be a welcome change. In their defense, they do this from time to time, but not often enough for my tastes. As is, everything would still be fine if they could just get back to updating.

Members of Femdom Chronicles are treated to over 80 bonus sites, over half of which are unique to the site. It's a diverse mix that, is overwhelming hardcore, with titles like Latinas Love Black Cock and Gays Aboard.
