Hentai Pros

I never was a big anime guy, but I had a thing for toon porns in my formative years, so when Hentai Pros came across my virtual desk, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of nostalgia. As I made my way through their archive, watching teachers violated by students and naive young girls tricked into gangbangs, those drawings of Velma and Daphne naked suddenly seemed awfully tame — well, except for the ones involving Scooby . . . .

Still, this hentai business is no joke. Take, for example, the episode entitled The Dark Doctor. In this one, a wife desperate for treatment for her husband is forced to perform sexual favors for a doctor who, as it turns out, is a sadistic, inagawa mask wearing mother fucker. And as I quickly found during my stay, dark themes such as this seem to be par for the course around here. Hell, that wasn't even the only twisted doctor episode they had.

And so far as general niches go, this stuff is all over the place. I've personally witnessed MILFs, cartoonishly large breasts, group sex, femdom, and enough rough sex and school girls to last a lifetime. Suffice to say, this is some twisted shit. I love it.

Another great thing is that none of the genitals are censored, as is common with Japanese porn. Perhaps more important than that, however, is the fact that every single one of these scenes has English subtitles. That might not sound important given that we are talking about porn here, but I'm telling you, every single scene I watched had a pretty intricate plotline. The dialogue served to make these scenes hotter, instead of just to make you roll your eyes, as is all too common when it comes to porn. Hell, in a few of these scenes, particularly the ones involving abuse of power dynamics(I'm looking at you, twisted doctor) had me on the edge of my seat.

On a side note, many of these cartoons, which usually have a running of time of around 30 minutes, are multi-parters. A lot of the magic of continuing the story would have been totally lost for me if I had no idea what the fuck was going on.

I am personally not the biggest anime or hentai fan in the world, so I can't really speak to you with much authority on the animation quality. What I will say is that, to my eye at least, it looked quite good. I personally found the animation style and scores to be very reminiscent of a cartoon I used to watch as a child called The Real Ghostbusters. So, if you need some sort of animation benchmark, I guess that's about as good as any.

Each video was accompanied by a lengthy synopsis, which I found rather helpful when it came to choosing one to jerk off to. There were also a few other nice features on the page, such as the ability to like, favorite scene, or even comment on the scene. Again, the user comments were pretty helpful on letting me know what to expect.

So far as the video quality goes, the embedded player allowd me to choose between 480p, 720p, and 1080p playback options. The scenes looked quite clear, even in the 480p option, and I experienced nothing in the way of buffering, even when quickly shifting through the timeline. I checked the speed and it clicked in at a fairly steady 2 megs-per-second. Not bad.

My only gripe about the videos would be that you have to upgrade to platinum membership if you want downloads. But considering how hot some of these cartoons are, it may well be worth it.

Another minor complaint would be that their update schedule is a little unpredictable. Lately they have been adding an average of 3 scenes per month, but in the past it has been as few as 1. So, members may face the occasional dry spell.

I suppose my only major complaint would be about the layout. This site doesn't really what I would describe as cutting edge navigation. In fact, it's anything but.

When you first log into the site, you will no doubt notice that there are two lists of scenes to choose one. One is labeled "Uncensored Hentai Videos" and the other "Most Popular Anime Videos." As it turns out, these both take you to the exact same content. Now, it'd be easy to write this off as a way of filtering content, and it is(although the confusing labels don't help), but it seems entirely redundant since no matter which list you choose to view the videos from, there are filters at the top giving you the option of viewing by date, popularity, or views already. What's more, all of the content is uncensored anyway, so the two lists are presenting a bit of a false distinction, too.

Perhaps I'm not-picking. This does, after all, save the user one click. But either way, the layout as a whole could use a massive overhaul. There are simply not enough browse tools here. Adding on some other ways to filter content, perhaps by director or artist, certainly by kinks, is a must.
