The tour area at Muscles in Motion features three main areas. There are videos promised, plus pictures and there is also an area called ‘be informed’. This last one links you to a page where you can sign up for a newsletter and anyone can do this, member or not. After that you’re left with the vids, over 350 are promised, and over 3,000 images in the gallery.

The site states that it is for young bodybuilders and don’t expect any sex. I know we’re Porn Inspectors here but this is not a porn site. Come with me and I will explain further.
It makes a change for me to be reviewing a site that doesn’t have a dick or bare ass on it – at least not one that I could find, there may be some in other parts of the site that I didn’t get to look at. It also makes a change to see an amateur site that is built by an amateur rather than a big company with loads of money. Because of that I will go easy on this site as I actually found it a bit too amateur to warrant it’s membership fee.
For example: the layout is pretty nasty with brightly coloured bands of background that are sometimes so similar in colour to the text that is over them that you can’t read it very well. There is no menu so navigation in the members’ area is tedious with loads of ‘back’ to return to where you were. The layout is simple with the videos and pictures being in lists (in English and German), there are no stats or thumbnails from the videos, nothing to tell you exactly when they were added to the site and no information about the guys you get to see.

I say get to see, I had trouble with the Muscles in Motion videos. I saw a couple of clips but, even with the recommended Quicktime 7 installed I still found errors in the files that stopped the movies from playing. The ones I saw varied in quality but they did feature handsome and very fit young guys working out, hanging out in the gym, posing in pouches and entering competitions. So that promise was kept. I wanted to see the one where a guy gets oiled up before a competition as I thought that might be mildly erotic but it didn’t play and it was only 10 seconds long anyway. Yes, the length of the ‘movies’ varies too, many are no more than clips.
As for the galleries, there are 28 in total, they are screen caps from the movies and so the size and quality of images varies. There are some that were 750 x 570 in size and not too bad a quality all things considered. Others, where there is some action going on, were smaller and blurred but that’s video stills for you. Again navigation was dodgy with no forward and back buttons.

Er, um… and there you have it. Muscles in Motion is a small site, it doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not – it doesn’t mention sex so don’t expect any, it’s a bunch of guys who love building their bodies and who want to finance their endeavours by running a membership site. Good luck to them I say. A little more work on the HTML and the design and the site would be greatly improved. We’d like some updates too other than just the newsletter and some more information about the guys and the competitions would be good.
