Logging in brings you more or less exactly what you see on the tour, so you can check out what you’re getting before you part with any money. I found the home page to be packed with pics and info, links and menu items and yet I also found the site easy to access and use. Straight off you can see the most recent updates featured with sample pics and dates, you can see that members are able to rate content and you can click to each individual site from the list on the left. Use the top menu to navigate to the full collection or browse the network by sites, it’s up to you. Either way you are in for something of a treat.

The Next Door collection started out with a few sites that were built around the theme of the boy (or man) next door, and these were straight and bisexual movies, guys and galleries that expanded into the gay world. So much so that the network is now more or less exclusively gay. You've got some bisexual action going on, but you've also got top gay stars like Cody Cummings, Austin Wilde and Mason Wyler with their own sites in your list. Ok, so even they may sometimes show a bi-sex or even straight scene, but the main point is that the majority of the video entertainment here is gay themed.

And there is a lot of it. Rather than list amounts per individual site, the totals here are from the full collection, so that’s 2118 videos from all 12 sites. And they are all collected together in the Episodes area. You have a choice of viewing that includes: Flash streams at three speeds, 240p, 450p and 540p. Mid-range at full screen is just about ok, the smaller version not so, and the full sized version is fine, though the screen size doesn’t change with the speed. Downloads are available in a generous amount of formats including WMV and full HD MP4, with other resolution choices too. One thing to watch out for: I found some of the ‘smaller’ files were over 400Mbs, some of the higher ones were over 1GB, which is pretty huge if you are not on a very fast connection. Other files were a more manageable size and thanks to the variety of sizes and qualities, you are probably going to find something to suit. You can always use the streams and I, on a mid-range connection, had no trouble streaming or downloading anything.

If you know your Next Door World sites then you know you get studio quality recordings and photos. You have good camerawork, nice lighting and clear sound. You also get some chat and build ups, some storylines and a variety of venues. The thing that each of the movies has in common though are the guys: hot and hard, from twinks to jocks and above, well built, solid, cut and uncut, hard-bodied and sexy through and through. They are not always the best dialogue speakers in the world, but we’re not here to listen to dialogue, but you get some of the best and sexiest performers around, that’s for sure.

For photo-lovers, you are well treated too. You've got over 1924 galleries with various amounts of pics each, and you've got 295 guys appearing in them. You’ll find the photos in their own area, or you can also find them by model, and listed on movie viewing pages, where you have suggested other scenes too. Individual pics open up to decent and varied sizes where the quality was spot on. Once the first photo in a set is open you can click it to start moving through and saving one by one. I didn’t see zip file downloads or slideshows but each photo set is linked back to its related scene, if there is one, which helps with what is actually very simple navigation.

The site also comes with a range of interactive options, such as a voting system and links to social networking sites and the like. You've got very basic information in the model index, with each guy being linked across to his videos and galleries, but you've also got the ‘On the set’ collection of 142 videos to take you backstage and on set where you can find out more about the operation and the hot men. Like the other content these videos are sortable in a variety of ways. You should have no trouble finding anything here with sites listed individually, drop-down lists of actors and the like, and a very simple navigation system. Finally, don’t forget the included live shows where you see some of these top stars performing live and streaming; there is a schedule and it won’t cost you anything extra to view.
