Rear Stable

Don’t worry if, when you go to the site and sign in, you appear to be in the members’ area for Raging Stallion; it’s all the same thing these days. I logged in and found that I had access to seven sites and Rear Stable was not listed at all; basically you’re signing up to Raging Stallion, Monster Bang, Hard Friction, High Octane, Hairy Boyz, Xtra Inches and Sex Gaymes when you sign up here and that’s a pretty decent deal. Watch out for any pre-checked cross sales on the join pages (get rid of them!) and take advantage of the decent membership offers, and you’re in hardcore heaven.

It’s a question of not knowing where to start first, so I started by looking through the videos on the home page. I noticed that updates were happening at the rate of around one every three days, and that the home page shows additions from every site. You can select content by site and the top menu makes this easy. Each site’s videos are shown in the same way and there are a total of 1368 to watch. These date back to 2000, in the days before HD filming, so you have to expect that some of the older ones will not be as good visually as the more recent ones. But they are still good quality in terms of filmmaking. You have a 240 and 480p choice for streaming in the older movies, full screen isn’t wonderful even at the ‘top’ resolution and some of the movies look like they were made on film and transferred. Perhaps they were. There is a certain amount of what I’d call ‘classic 80’s porn’ in here.

But come up to date with the more recent offerings and you have ‘web HD’ version as well as the two smaller ones, and this is at 540p. You can only stream the videos here and that’s because the other alternative is to go and buy them in the shops. If you did that you would be paying out hundreds of dollars whereas a membership here is a decent price for access to these scenes, for as long as you stay a member. You can use the Movies tab in the menu to see the box covers of the 280 full length DVDs available to you. Each one of these comes with a lot of detail (usually) and links to each individual scene; it’s another way of checking through your available content.

As for action: you've got it all really. Some of the sites are purely about tough, Marlboro men, butch bears and studs, your typical hunks in hairy hardcore; others contain athletes and jocks and even twinks, but still the action is always hard and horny, even fetish based at times, with leather and slings and harnesses. Even the younger, twinkier guys have a sense of macho about them, so you’re not looking at anything prissy or camp here. You are looking at good quality, well-made scenes, with top models. And you can check them out in the model index where there were 1,126 men waiting to tempt you towards scenes. Just about all of them have a face or body shot, and clicking that will take you to his profile. Here you get some stats and details, and links to videos and galleries.

There are currently 2242 galleries in the collection, and they hold various amounts of images each. Some have 15, some have two; this isn’t really a gallery site and the photo sets are kind of minor extras. Your main extras come from the seven sites themselves. Though having said that you also have access to an exclusive live show with a countdown running so you know when to be on line, and there is an archive of 36 recordings to watch as well.

Navigation is easy, you will find category lists to use, a search box, a favourites functions, the site is various languages, an Account area, links to help and support, the DVD store and other up-sell places, plus a set of 11 feed sites as well. Mind you, with all this top quality content you’re hardly likely to need them.
