Sex VR

The main membership page at Sex VR was better organized better than many sites I have visited. Upon logging in, I was greeted by a small row of unobtrusive menus, half of which bringing down an assortment of drop-down options when I hovered my mouse over them. Similarly, a little icon in the right-hand corner brought up a box that would let me customize the page to my liking, including such options as changing the color scheme, thumbnail sizes, whether or not I wanted to see thumbnails at all, and, my personal favorite, the number of videos to be displayed on each page.

What I was most enamored by, however, were all those links to trending videos, videos that were currently being watched, and the sizable list of recommendations situated at the bottom of the page. After all, when we are dealing with over 3157 scenes from 24 different studios, the occasional helping hand can't hurt. And with over 3,700 members potentially rating these videos, I'd say these are recommendations that cannot be easily dismissed, either.

One thing I noticed right off the bat is that they are offering quality work here. Amongst the studios I saw premium offerings like Badoink VR and Virtual Porn 360. What's more, there are enough top-flight porn stars listed(each with her own intricate, chalk full o' details model page) to get any hardcore porno fans to stand up and take notice. Suffice it to say, this site has the goods.

Since these scenes can range anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, I particularly enjoyed the little sliding bar that lets you filter scenes by time. And if you're just out for some freebies, or are just looking to push the limits of your new VR equipment, I think you will, too. Admittedly, this little mechanism didn't work perfectly, but with its aid I did manage to find a good 20 or so scenes falling in the 10-30 minute range.

They also included a filter option that I wish more VR sites would make use of: POV. Currently, you can choose between male, female, and voyeur. I personally always found the latter a little silly, but I guess it does enhance the realism there, too, what with being able to look around the room in between creepy leers at busy couples. But hey, at least I can filter those scenes out, right?

As far as the scenes themselves go, I was happy to find that the page for each was loaded with helpful of information — everything from framerates and viewing angles to a cast lists, keywords, and scene descriptions. There aren't any actual options when it comes to download or streaming, though, which I suppose is not all that surprising consider this content is free. So, whether or not these scenes are 180 degree or 360 degree, and whether or not they are available in a massive resolution seems to vary from scene-to-scene and studio-to-studio.

But that is not to say that the video playback quality here is a perfect representation of of what is offered on the sites. In fact, some of the low resolution samples offered here were from studios I have personally reviewed — studios that I know for a fact offer much better looking footage. So, take the freebie playback quality with a big old pinch of salt.

Also, if you click the "Watch Full Length" button on the page, you will be redirected to a sign-up page for each site, which, more often than not, conveniently lists the actual resolutions and other technical stats. This is good to know if you're thinking of spending your hard-earned dollars. Particularly if you've already spent quite a few of them on a fancy VR headset . . . .

My only minor complaint about this site would be that, as nice as the navigation was, there were a few things that irked me. For instance, when using those drop-down menus I fawned over earlier in the review, I would sometimes have to hover my mouse back over the initial menu option 2 or 3 times before I could make my way down to the sub-menu option I was after. At first I thought my cursor was slipping onto the main page, but after several tries with 100% focus on my cursor, I came to the conclusion it was probably just a bug.

I also can't say I was a fan of the VR Strip Club link in the main menu being little more than an ad for another pay-site. But again, my membership here was free, so I guess I can't fault them too much for trying to make a buck off of me.
