Whoever designed the layout for Spinchix.com took a very straight-forward, minimalistic approach, which I think works quite well. I also have to applaud the designer for going with a very dark color scheme, which is quite easy on the eyes when browsing the site in the A.M., as I usually do. In fact, the only thing that sets this design apart from your standard "porno site layout" is the incorporation of a little social media via a Twitter-feed at the bottom of the page, and links to their Youtube and Facebook pages at the top. Aside from that, it's pretty much what we know and expect from porn site navigation. And that's just fine by me.

Since this site doesn't rely on over-the-top, raunchy sex acts, but instead on the ability of drop-dead-gorgeous women to go it alone, captivating us with their looks and ability to effectively strike a pose, I figured the model index was the appropriate place to start. Well, as it turns out there's currently just over 100 models in their lineup, each with their well organized, information packed page which, in addition to vital statistics and links to their content, also allows members access to that patented "360 view" talked about on the page. I think it's worth noting, too, that there are several notable stars of the adult industry sprinkled throughout. Of course, the less famous babes are just as, if not more stunning than the porn stars. All in all, a truly quality collection of performers.

The tour gave an impression of a site that truly cares about putting out a quality product. While that certainly seems to be the case, I can't help but wonder why they neglected to mention that they're quite prolific as well. Updates seem to pour in on a damn near daily basis, which would explain how they've managed to produce nearly 600 in just under 3 years. They're also quite evenly dispersed, too. As I write this there's 638 scenes and 320 photo sets. So, whether you're a fan of live action or still photography, you will not feel neglected.

So, what's the content like, you ask? Well, I think it very closely matches the descriptions on the tour page. While it's definitely brings to mind a lot of the softcore and studio photography sites out there, with its lingerie-clad models doing slow, seductive stripteases set to exotic, soothing sounding instrumentals, it sets itself apart with its highly stylized, artistic approach(which can be seen in scenes like Mask of Vanity) as well as a willingness to show a little pink for those of us who truly who enjoy every aspect of the female form. I also think that their combination of musical choices, color palettes and soft lighting give their videos a dream-like quality that's really unique and, strangely enough, quite relaxing. Hell, you could probably use these videos for more than just masturbating. I can picture someone putting one on after a hard day of work just to unwind.

I also have to commend them for including some light girl-on-girl action, which breaks up the monotony of what would otherwise be solo set after solo set. Besides, anyone going after artistic, visually striking material would be a fool to overlook all the possibilities of two sexy female bodies intertwined in a lover's embrace.

So far as raw playback quality and resolutions are concerned, I'm happy to report that they're uniformly high from start to finish. Even the updates from 2012 sport high-res photography and HD quality video.

The videos can be streamed or downloaded in your choice of three different resolutions: Low(320 x 240), Medium(640 x 480), and High(1280 x 720). They all look quite good, and the striking color palettes and soft lighting manage to make even their low quality option look great. Better still, the latest videos have upped the ante in terms of quality, with each option going up in resolution, so that we end up with a 1080p HD "High" option.

And while the photo galleries don't share the multi-resolution option of the videos, they do offer high-resolution(1,200+ pixel width) photos that can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways thanks to a great little viewing mechanism, which seems to be part slideshow, part photo manipulator. That having been said, I still would have liked to have seen more resolutions, and the lack of the ability to download full sets in a ZIP was a bummer. I also felt that the photo galleries failed to capture that awesomeness found in the videos. But I suppose we can't have it all, right?

Another thing I wasn't a big fan of was the fact that, while the barebones navigation is user-friendly in that it's fairly straight-forward, it also hurts in that it's sometimes hard to really narrow things down to what you specifically want. Scenes don't really have any synopsis or niche tags, and even the model pages are devoid of any biographical information. I understand letting the visuals speak for themselves, but a little information can sometimes go a very long way.

On the bright side, I really enjoyed the more behind-the-scenes stuff they included, and I think that the whole "360" concept was a great idea. It's fun making these beauties spin around, and enjoying every nook and cranny of their body at your own pace. That having been said, it does seem like it's still in the early stages of development, so I look forward to seeing all the innovations they come up with. If they somehow made it more 3D, for instance, it'd be absolutely spectacular.
