Str 8 Hunks

What we weren’t told in the tour (at least I didn’t find it or it wasn’t made clear) is that Str 8 hunks is actually a ‘feed site’. A quick nip around the member’s area will show you that the content on the site comes from a load of other sites and there’s nothing exclusive here. That’s not a problem as long as you haven’t seen all the feed sites before and as long as you weren’t hoping for a site that was 100% straight guys being seduced; like the tour said. Because there are feeds from bi-sexual, twink and Asian sites. In fact you name it there’s a feed site for it.

Stick with the home page first and your ‘Best of Man Alert’ content is in the centre box. The top two were bi-sex sites when I was there but I clicked on the ‘Raw Jerks’ video feed to see what the standard of vids was. There were seven movies here divided into clips and they streamed in not so wonderful quality. There was an option to view in an external player (Windows Media Player) and although the guys were easy on the eye the sound was intermittent and the quality not particularly brilliant. Not to worry, there were plenty of other video feeds to try. Like ‘Stud Search’ where you can stream in Java and watch sexy guys jack off solo style. Or ‘Hard and Raw’ where you have a few flix to sample; again streaming in but this time with a clearer picture and better sound.

I checked around the bonus feeds too, though as far as I can see everything on the site is a bonus feed, and struggled with ‘Hard Hunks’ for a while. Selecting various streaming video clips of various totally fit guys, I found that I had to run a very jerky clip for about two minutes before re-clicking ‘play’ and watching the ten seconds worth of vid smoothly. Actually many of the other bonus feeds played much more smoothly, quickly and had a choice of connection speeds so that helped a great deal and I can’t complain at the amount of content. I was particularly impressed with ‘French Heat’ where you can view full screen and the quality remains good. The French guys were pretty horny too!

So you get the picture? You’ve got loads of video feeds at this site and the quality varies, as does the type of content. In the main you can only watch on-line and there is not much opportunity to download and add clips to your collection. If you want to collect things though try the picture galleries, both the featured, straight hunk ones and the bonus galleries. These have thousands of images in them and the pics click up to full size while the quality generally remains good.

Under the ‘staff picks’ heading at this site you’ll find the recommended vids including a full length movie of the week. There are also links here to scene information, chat, drawings and stories. Watch out for some of the extras, like the chat, as you will have to sign up to get the full benefits – membership to these sites is not included in your Str 8 hunks package.
