Young Recruits is a site that gets young, real life military guys to turn up to the video shoots in their uniforms, interviews them and then persuades them to strip and jack off for the cameras. We’re told that the material is exclusive and the boys really are in the US Army or Navy. There are exclusive videos on offer and the tour gives good examples of what and who to expect once you sign up.

O.k. shipmates, the first thing to remember when visiting Young Recruits is: not only are the guys in the pics and vids young but the site itself is a bit of a new recruit and was only enlisted onto the Web in January 2007. I’m not to sure at what point a new porn site is launched, I suspect that some are started up with a large amount of non-exclusive content, just for the sake of getting them out there; and that makes for a dull viewing experience. But Young Recruits quite clearly did not go down that road. They hit the decks running, as it were, with the emphasis on exclusivity and quality material rather than a bulk of licensed and lower quantity material. All of which is a rather long-winded way of saying there aint much material on the site as yet but what there is is good. Very good actually.
Take the videos for example. There are 49 video scenes taken from 14 full length movies. You can stream these on-line but, as yet, you can’t download them. This seems to be a bit of a problem for at least one Young Recruits member who points out in the forum, quite rightly, that the tour does state ‘downloadable videos’ and yet you can only stream them. The other problem with the stream only option is that it takes up the page: click a title to view the movie and you have to wait at that page while the scene buffers and then plays. To watch the entire scene without the movie stopping and starting you’ll have to pop out and make a cup of tea while it buffers and then come back and click play. And while all this is going on you can’t navigate around the site and view the galleries as you’d lose the video that is trying to play.
Having said that the videos are good. The interviews with the lads before the ‘show’ starts act to persuade you that these are real sailors and soldiers – how they get away with it I’ll never know, presumably their military commissions, or contracts or whatever do not prohibit them from appearing in gay porn. Actually, looking at some of the guys, I’d say it would be a shame to send them overseas to fight, let’s start a movement to keep all cute young military guys in the country where they can appear in Young Recruits gay sex movies. But now we’re getting political so we’ll move on to the photo sets.

I guess it’s easier to persuade a guy to pose for photos than appear in a video as there are different boys in the gallery; if they had each made a video there would be many more movies to watch. Maybe they did and they’re coming later. Who knows? What I do know is that the galleries are great. You get full sized images that are, in the main, well taken and you get enough of them. There are 30 photo sets, some with as many as 190 individual photos. You get to see cute and sexy airmen and soldiers, some with shaved cocks, jacking off and couples fucking and blowing in uniform. It’s good that the guys keep some of their military apparel on during the scenes as a naked guy is just a naked guy whereas a semi-naked sailor is still a sailor and that’s what the fetish is all about.
As for the Young Recruits extras: there is a forum which is being used but which is fairly simple and so far contains mainly comments about the content or viewing issues. And there is a page of links to magazine, feed and web cam sites; nothing too special here but at least it’s something.

For a new site Young Recruits is off to a good start. They promise you real military and young guys in the tour and I was persuaded that the lads were actual soldiers and sailors, certainly the ones interviewed in the videos had a ring of truth about them. But the tour also promises downloadable movies and you can’t do that as yet. There is also a promise of a new update every three days and this had fallen behind when I visited, but only by a couple of days so here’s hoping the updates get back on track. With more good quality material and continuing updates there’s no reason why this site shouldn’t prosper and grow to become one of the best in its niche.
