Zvidz.com tells us it is a DVD store that has been collaborating with adult industry professionals for over 20 years, distributing adult DVDs from its base in the USA. The latest releases are featured on the tour front page with large cover shots, descriptions and content information. As is standard on shopping sites you will need to register (free) to finally buy your choice of titles and prices seem standard also.

It’s easy to see what you are getting here. You can access everything the site has on offer before you decide to buy, so there is nothing hidden. Simply use the category lists to see what is available, read the descriptions and then add things to your basket. Then you can register in order to enter your card information and place your order.
There are a few things to look at with on-line stores. The content, the prices, the ordering and the shipping, to name a few:
The content. Under this heading you can find four sub-categories. ‘Stars’ contained only links to appearances by Juan Carlos and clicking this link brought all his titles but there was no further information about who Juan Carlos might be. Neither was there info about the other stars or the run time; only the basic description of the movie, the price and how many were in stock. To find more content use the next sub-category, ‘Niche’, and there you have six categories to select from. There were two areas for Toys that you might like to add to your basket to enhance your viewing pleasure when your movies arrive but the last sub-category, ‘Studio’, held the majority of the content. Here you will find 22 studios with 334 titles. Again each title comes with a short description and the price, but no other information. If you want to see who is in a show and how long it lasts you only have the titles featured on the home page, the latest releases, to give you that information. I would want to know at least how long a DVD runs for before I start paying out for it.
Which leads on to the next thing to look at; the prices. I found some titles here that were $59.95 (before any shipping costs are added) and others that were as low as $19.95. There is an advanced search option to use where you can state the price you are looking for, and some other criteria, and prices are clearly marked. But without knowing the run time, the region and other useful information you may be left wondering exactly what you are getting for your money. Unless, or course, you are ordering something from a studio that you know brings you quality productions that are a good length.

As for the ordering itself: I wanted to check out shipping details. Some states n the USA don’t allow shipping of porn material nor do some countries and it’s always good to check before you complete the order process. Although this is quite quick you don’t want to enter your card and other details only to find you can’t actually receive what you were hoping to buy. Well, I looked for a FAQ or help page but couldn’t find one. On my way I went right back to the opening page (and noticed there was a ‘Grand Opening Sale’ on, but I thought we’d been going for 20 years? Maybe that referred to the company who are now opening up Zvidz.com as a site, I don’t know…) Anyway, no sign of a FAQ page there. Nor was there any information on any of the other pages, including the ‘About Us’ page where I expected to find it. There was a contact page that listed an email address for order enquires so you could ask before you proceed. His page also had some information about how to order and stated that shipping would be discrete; but there was little else.
So, assuming that the store is new and hoping that the kind of information customers will want to read before they buy is added soon, (hint, hint,) the store is off to a reasonable start. It is not as packed and informative as many and there are lots of features that could be added which would make it more user friendly: clips, thumbnails, cast information, what region the DVDs are formatted for and so on. Check it out for some good studios and some low prices but check out your shipping first, just in case.

[v]Conclusion(3.6)
Zvidz.com could do with some more features: cast information, directors, studios and other useful pieces of text that help customers make up their mind to buy or not. Some more pics, clips and titles would also be good as would shipping information and a more in depth FAQ page. There are some well known studios here, over 300 titles and a straightforward ordering process.
