A Good Release

Having thoroughly enjoyed so much DDF Productions has had to offer throughout the years, I was intrigued when I heard they had created a pay-per-view style site, and thrilled when I found out I might have the chance to sample the wares.

The interface at A Good Release is about as simple as it gets. The main menu links to scenes, categories, a model gallery, and simple keyword search. Admittedly, I would have expected more browse-tools tools for 624 scenes, but I found it simple enough to navigate the landscape of European debauchery.

Speaking of which, the site's roster of 380+ porn stars was populated by Russian and Hungarian hotties like Cherry Jul and Alison Star, as well as the occasional Spanish hottie like Carolina Abril — you know, just to spice things up. To say these are high quality babes would be an understatement.

So, what's the porn like? Well shot for starters. These scenes have an eye pleasing cinematic style, but more importantly the camera is always where we want it to be, capturing the filthiest of the filthiness. What's more, this content covers a wide
range of genres, kinks, and outrageous scenarios, even delving into light bondage on a few occasions.

Oh, and all you fans of fans of ménage à trois might like to know that there are 154 scenes of that variety to choose from, damn near evenly split between MMF and FFM(currently 67 MMF and 87 FFM). You won't get any of the more out there fetishes of themes, but you do get is a great mix of the popular hardcore fare, sensually performed by decidedly sexy porn stars.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of scenes with English dialogue. Seeing so many European gals in the model index, I'd figured language barriers would be inevitable. It's a good thing they're not, though, because these scenes have genuine plot points and dialogue. Nurses seduce their patients, financial wizards cum in the mouths of their secretaries, and nervous wives have their first BDSM style MMF threeways. And I think that's the way it ought to be. I mean, it's certainly a lot more interesting than anonymous flesh, don't you think?

On that note, I think they did a great job with costumes and set design. Their outdoor scenes, in particular, were just lovely to look at.

Once you've made your purchase, the scene can be streamed or downloaded in a number of resolutions, including a crystal clear 1080p high-definition. And with DDF adding 4k already to so many of its sites, that format is surely only around the corner, too.

Currently tokens can be purchased in 4 different packages, ranging from 1 token for $2.99 all the way up to 50 tokens for $99.55. With most scenes not costing much more than a token, those $29.95 and $49.95 bundles could really go a long way in satisfying a moderately paced viewers needs.

If I had to pick this site's major weakness, it would have to be its navigation. As I mentioned, the model pages are as basic as it gets. Before they even get to that, though, they should probably add some more browse-tools, and certainly fix some of the kinks in their already existing interface. For example, the categories link in their main menu stopped working for me the other day, and it hasn't worked since.

Aside from that, the site seems to be fine, and actually pretty fairly priced when compared to some of its major pay-per-view competitors. I do wish there had been some extreme hardcore content in the mix, but I suppose that just comes down to personal preference.
