Bear Films

The thing that first struck me about this site was that the home page was nicely ‘newsy.’ It not only held an image of the most recent update, and some large images of the top models, but it had a members’ poll running in the sidebar and there were also links to worldwide bear events. It looks like we might be getting more than just movies here in this members’ area.

But movies is where I went first and I found that there are two areas: the exclusives and the streams and feeds. The exclusives are set out across numbered index pages so that is easy enough to use, and each one is shown with a sample pic, names of the models, upload dates and members’ rating. There were 671 scenes here dating back to 2007 and a quick flick through the index pages revealed bear couples in plenty of action that included threesomes. Checking the viewing options I found that these movies are stream only, there is no downloading to be had here. You have a screen that’s around 450 x 335 in size, which is not huge, and I didn’t see any other alternative. Having said that, full screen was fine and there was little or no buffering and the stream ran smoothly on my mid-range connection. Scenes ran for around 20 minutes in length, the quality was fine, the filming was good and natural and the sound and lighting was also good.

The bear action is also right up there with the best of what I’ve seen recently. These guys are heavy and hairy, with wide hairy asses, strong cocks hiding under beer guts and there’s plenty of facial hair too, and they give hardcore fuck scenes that leave your nuts dry, and theirs of course. The couplings work well, you’ve got bear on bear action here and not that older guy with younger twink stuff, there are no twinks here. If there are younger guys appearing then they are cubs, still hairy and stocky and sexy.

Clicking over to the other items in the menu I found three areas of images with solo model galleries, action galleries and event galleries where the images come from Prides and parties and bear events. That’s a good helping of varied images to browse through. Images clicked up to good sizes and where high resolution; galleries had various numbers each but around 50 pics a pop is a rough guide. There were also zip files so you can download the whole sets in one go. You can also check out the model index where you find over 850 varied looking guys. They are all bears, or older men, some silver daddies appear as well and they come with a facility whereby you can leave and read comments. I wouldn’t actually call this a model index, it is more like the solo galleries shown under a different heading, but there is some more information about each guy: you need to click his linked name in his photo set, or video, or entry in this model index, then you see some basic stats and links to all his appearances.

There are some interactive options, like the comments and the rates you can give each guy, film or gallery, and there is also an ‘add to favourites’ function. You will find that navigation is easy enough and there were no technical troubles. The top menu holds links to the a Live Cams area, a store, six feeds and extra movies from some top names, 17 erotic stories, and a place where all the exclusive Bear Films DVDs are set out of you to select scenes from, and they come with links to where you can go and buy hard copies.
