Flesh Hunters

The main page is, admittedly, quite busy. There are links recent updates, as well as top-rated ones, a gallery and video of the day, and 8 separate menus. That's quite a lot for one page to manage, and most definitely too much to digest for your average user if done clumsily. Fortunately, the page is well-organized and laid out in a way as to help instead of overwhelm.

The content, though it may range in action, manages to stay on focus as far as theme is concerned. The solo action, usually some fresh-faced, innocent looking damn sheepishly touches herself, all the while looking guilty to aid in the growth of our erections. On the other hand, the more explicit, male-involved ordeals take the form of experimentation, peer pressure, sometimes even worse.

Hey, they're not gonna win any awards for acting or dialogue here, but at least they're putting forth an effort. Speaking of effort, I noticed some notable stars, of both sexes, in the content here. That might kill it for some of you, but I think their tastes in the ladies were about as spot-on for the format as you can get.

The layout for each video, not unlike the main members' page itself, is sleek, finely-tuned affair, and certainly not lacking in the user-friendly department. Once you chosen a title off the list, you're whisked away to a page with a damn good embedded flash player on-hand, leaving you one mouse-click away from the action. To further clue you in, there are thumbnails from the scene, a rating user-based 5 star rating, and a comments box. They've even added a list of suggested and related videos.

Of course, It's worth also noting that you're given the choice of three different formats for the streaming video alone: H264(MPEG-4), WMV/HD 480p, and WMV/HD 720p. Direct downloads go a step further, offering a mobile-device-friendly format as well. The video quality was, in most cases, well above the norm. The scenes were certainly well lit, and, though the mostly handheld camera-work was a bit amateurish, I still never felt like I was watch low-grade grainy trash. While we're on teh subject, the videos were well encoded, and the higher resolution options looked spectacular.

All in all, I left the videos section feeling rather pleased. My only complaint in this area at all would be that, during peak hours especially, downloads be a bit, well, on the slow side. Sometimes as slow as 350 kilobytes per second. Come on, Flesh Hunters, I know you can do better than that!

In total, I found there to be 0 picture galleries, containing an average of 100 images each. And it should come as no surprise by now that he photos section is just as decked out as the rest of the site. You can view images in the old-fashioned, row of thumbnails way. Or, if you'd prefer, you can view them in a fancy slide-show that even lets you manipulate their dimensions.

The JPEG files looked great. They were clear and sharp, with vibrant colors and loads of detail. It seemed a more skilled hand may have been in play here, when compared to some of the video, at least. There's even a low-resolution option for those with more sluggish hardware and connections alike. Interestingly, full galleries can also be downloaded in either the ZIP of PDF format.
