French Lads

You get a good idea of what to expect from you members’ area when you view the honest tour. Once inside you see the most recent updates and then a pretty extensive menu which takes you to the videos, galleries, models, movies, FAQ and some extras. More about them later. First the French Lads themselves and what they get up to:

Heading to the videos, where I found 567 movies, you will see a line of categories across the top of the index pages. These are ways to filter the content and include: Darkroom, Masked, Toys, Rough, Twinks and Older/Younger, so you can see, there is a lot of variety here. A quick glance at one page of 18 sample images shows you hard and big dicks being sucked, sneaker sex, sock sniffing, threesomes, guys in suits, tattooed studs, hairy guys, fit and muscled men and anal. You've got the message by now I hope? There is a lot here and it is very varied. It is also exclusive and reasonable quality.

Movies are shown in streams and come with downloads. There were limited choices, but good ones and I found the most recently added scene came with a ‘standard’ and ‘HQ’ option for stream and download, the HQ version coming out at DVD sizes, around 960 x 540 @ 2,000 kbps. Most were decently filmed and clear, some were a little big grainy, filmed in darker places, and the hand held was sometimes a bit shaky. It comes across as decently made but amateur filming, and that works really well.

Clicking over to the Photos area, I fund 66 photo sets with the most recent one holding 13 images. Clearly the video content is more important and more frequently added to than the photo content, but the images were up at 800 x 450 and came with slideshows, the quality was fine and there were some nice shots from some of the videos to view. Like the videos the galleries are shown with their upload dates and come with a few additional features.

You are able to rate the content in this members’ area and add it to a favourites collection. There are descriptions, and linked tag words, plus samples of other scenes to click so you can jump from one to the other. Navigation is easy, the top menu stays with you and there is a search box. You’re able to change the language of the site from English to German (not French as it turns out this is a German site) and there is an account area, plus links to support if needed. So, no navigation or technical issues, though I did find a couple of movies where the download command did not work for me.

As for extras: there’s the Movies area where I found a further 16, full length, twink themed DVDs, European and non-exclusive but showing only samples from the scenes; you have to go and buy the full DVD if you want to download all of it. There’s the model index too where there were 250 models to browse through and it’s very tempting to spend time here selecting content according to the varied and sexy guys presented. You’re given their names and links to their videos, but not a lot of info. And, to finish you off nicely, there are 16 feed sites to check out as well.
