Lurid Digs

I'm so happy to be telling you about Lurid Digs. I have had it as a bookmark for years now, popping back from time to time to see what new and hilarious descriptions and notes the author has come up with as he finds these incredible images that men have posted in the hope of attracting a mate. We're taking bad furniture, disastrous interior design, outrageous photos of guys doing all kinds of things in 'nasty' settings and it's this element of the site that makes it well worth seeing.

The site isn't really about videos (there are some and we will get to them shortly) it is more about the lengths guys well go to in order to find a hook-up. Click through the 375 + posts that have, over the years, amazed and shocked, and you will see what I mean. You have to click through these one page of five posts at a time (but you can also change the page number in the address bar and jump around up to 75 pages at the moment) and you will find large images of the amateur guys and their 'adverts' about themselves, plus a comment in the form of a blog post from the guys behind the site. Headings such as 'No more wicker hampers Everrrr!!!' and 'Sound off. How not to hang your speakers' may not mean much as titles, not until you see the photos that go with them.

It's all about the disasters that lurk behind the shots of naked amateur guys. They pose, seriously, with their hideous furniture and wallpapers, sporting hard-ons or softies, posing to attract other on dating sites and it's good to see the horny amateur guys who range in age from twinks to granddads, and who range in size from skinnies to chubbies. The posts then comment on the worst of the shots, usually what's going on in the background and it's al light-hearted and satirical.

Okay, so that's the free side of the site and anyone can read the blog but the membership side is on three levels. There's this, the Basement Digs, where you get the 'digs' at the pics and backgrounds, and then there's the First Floor and, for full membership, the Penthouse and here's what you can find on those storeys:

In the First Floor department you find 305 videos from a variety of porn producers. We are getting into professedly made hardcore here, though it's non-exclusive and you find movies from Jason Sparks Live, American Muscle Hunks and Bad Boy Bondage, among many others. These movies are shown with a brief description and one stream, you simply click on the index page image and the stream starts. You can click to go full screen (a bit fuzzy at times) and watch the full length scenes that way and then you can give them a rate. It's fine, but there's no update schedule and nothing exclusive here.

Up in the Penthouse you get 3,049 feed movies, again non-exclusive and from a variety of sites: Treasure Island Media, Dirty Boy Videos, On The Hunt and Rear Stable included, and these movies open in new tabs where you have descriptions and a list of other titles from the feed selection, but again only the one viewing option. Movies are in Flash at around 640 x 360. The quality is fine, kind of mid-range, and you can go full screen. Again, there's no update schedule and there are no photos, but it's a decent feed collection with plenty to see.

Your site also gives you some free credits to an embedded live show plug-in, a newsletter and a page where you can submit your own 'catastrophe', and here they are referring to the amateur images and dreadful backgrounds/homes/furniture etc. that is, after all, what the site is all about.
