Male Model

Don’t get me wrong. I really like this site for many reasons, which I will tell you about in a moment, but I felt that it had a couple of basic flaws; which, again, I will tell you about shortly. We know, from the tour, that the site is purely and simply about nude male photography and that is to be applauded. Not only are the image well shot, atmospheric and high quality, but there is a wide range of models appearing at this site too. The site also updates every Friday so although there are already quite a number of photo sets there will be more coming each week. But first the men:

Ask yourself, ‘what makes a good, erotic photograph?’ Is it the lighting, the setting, the framing of each model, or is it the model themselves? It’s actually the way the guy is photographed and at this site they know what they are doing. Erotica is all about what is left to the imagination and what these photo sets do is leave you with memories of untouchable guys that you can call up and ‘touch’ when in need of some imagined encounter. In that respect it works well; it leaves you dreaming up what you would do with this model were you there with him. It makes you use your imagination and stimulates you just enough to set you on the road to a fulfilling fantasy. It doesn’t show you hardcore, you have to do some of the work, and yet it is still very, very erotic. There are fabulous shots of the guys semi-clothed and nude, with both soft and hard cocks and there are even some ‘after the cum shot’ images – you fill in the gaps.

This site gets it right on two counts. One, the photography is excellent and worthy of any coffee table photo-book or glossy magazine and two, the models themselves are nigh on perfect. And there is a good variety of guys too. For some examples: In the Erotic Series I found Alexis, a dark haired, shaved, Greek looking guy. I found Gion, fit, black and hung and sporting his hard cock in several of the shots. There were young twink type guys, such as Jelte with his boyish good looks, blonde hair and smooth butt. And many other well put together college aged guys in erotic poses. Poses such as: lying face down on the bed with a pert ass on show, legs slightly parted and a pair of smooth balls visible between: wet in the shower with the shape of a promising cock showing through the wet shorts: wearing underwear that is slowly stripped off: holding a long, hard cock and looking back at the camera inviting you to do something with it. And so the list could go on, but I don’t want to tell you everything. I too should leave something for your imagination.

There are four ‘series’ of photographs featured on the site: Erotic, as mentioned above, the Art series, the Extended one and a small collection of couples in the Duo series. These last sets numbered five when I visited. The guys were of the same high standard as before, as was the photography but this time there were two guys in each set. Again, not hardcore, no penetration or oral shots, simply two sexy guys holding each other in erotic poses. The Art series was a collection of 31 individual images which, I guess, Male Model has singled out for their artistic merit. The last series, Extended, works in a similar way to the Erotic collection, with many guys fully nude but the accent more on the semi-clothed and clothed shots with an emphasis also on the faces: cute, young, perfect – think of you own adjectives to describe the beauty of the males here and you won’t go far wrong.

Now then. I said that the site had a couple of flaws. The biggest disappointment for me (though I can understand totally why this is in place) was that this site will not let you download the images. Right click on one and you receive a copyright notice pop up instead of your usual download options. You could, I guess, take a screen shot of the image and crop and save it that way but there are so many that you will want to keep you will be there for hours. You can run a slideshow of each set though and the images are a good size on your screen. There is also a lack of information about each guy: you are told his name and then you have your 25 or so images of him but that’s it. Some stats and background information would have been nice.

As for design and other features, the members’ area at this site has the same professional look as the tour pages; the black background theme continues with some atmospherically lit images of some of the models fading in and out beneath the simple top menu. Included on this menu are links to: a list of the latest models so you can check for updates; details required should you want to join this site hall of fame and become a model; a page of suggested links and a page of recommended pay sites; there are some wallpapers for your cell phone (as long as you are in certain European countries, Australia and the USA) and instructions on how to get the hot image there: and finally there are some ring tones that you can also add to your mobile.
