Maverick Men

There is a history to this site: the guys started out like the rest of us, sharing their hardcore home movies on XTube and building up a fan base. That very soon expanded, thanks to their natural way on camera, their amazing bodies and their love-and-lust for hardcore action with strangers. Now they are in the realms of having their own exclusive content site and inviting anyone (including you) to come along and make a movie. There are 299 videos now, and they are all there for streaming as soon as you log in. You can take a VOD route if you want, but I was in the full site with the standard membership.

Like I say, anyone can apply to be a model here and that's why we end up viewing a wide range of guys. I'd say they were mainly in their 20s, while Cole and Hunter are older, and one is a salt 'n' pepper daddy - which gives us the nice mix of older with younger, from time to time. The guys they select to appear tend to be cum pigs and slut-puppies. They are all up for some sleazy sex, usually bareback and wild, there's loads of ass rimming and cock sucking, threesomes, group scenes and duos. Sometimes there are other guys around during the filming who simply watch, so I guess we have some voyeur action there as well. It's filmed 'on the fly' as one of the guys holds the camera and there is usually chatting and laughing all the way through as well. Just the kinds of movies we might make in the privacy of our own home, but in this case, all plastered across our screen for anyone to see - as long as you've signed up.

The 299 Maverick Men scenes start off on page one as soon as you land on the homepage. They are shown with a sample shot that gives you a good idea of who is in each scene, a title and a star rating from members. Click through to find the viewing page. These, like the rest of the site, are pretty basic. They hold an image of the scenes which you click to get the stream, and a few screenshots (12) so you get an idea of the action. Click one of these, and you also get to the stream but the stream starts from the point in the movie that the image shows, so they are not collectable images but points in the movies to start from. You can the jump around the stream if you want to and play from anywhere. The stream opens in a floating player and comes with up to four stream options, from HD down to Low.

The movies were okay for quality. The resolutions are up around 970 x 582, and run for around 20 to 40 minutes, including all the fun and chat at the start. The camera moves around wildly at times, so there are some blurred moments, but that all adds to the atmosphere. The sound is also natural.

As much as I liked the videos at the site, I did have some issues with the site itself. It's very simple. You have the videos popping up in a new screen when you play them, and you have volume control, and you can go full screen. There are good descriptions, and you can also add comments and rate them as you go. Members also get to add scenes to a favourites area. That's fine, but I found navigation could have been improved. You have 'limited pagination' as they say; you can only click trough one page at a time so if you want to find the oldest movie you can to click through several pages and then back again to find the first. There is a list of months and years on the tour homepage though, so that serves to help you find content by date.

There are no search and sort options, and no model index. (The guys' details are in the descriptions.) I found a page of trailers and a link to the Store, but I frequently found pages that would not open unless is hit on them twice; the first time was 'can't be loaded', the second click or a refresh worked okay. The sign-up prices are good, and there was a lot of choice for pay as you go: you buy credits this way, but you can also opt for the recurring monthly deal which, at $34.95, would be better if there were extras and more content.
