Simon Scans

The layout is a little on the primitive side, but I can't help but admire the strange purple background they've chosen. There's something decidedly retro about it, and when you couple that with the name, which reminds me quite a bit of a childhood favorite of mine, "Simon`s Quest," you get a nostalgic vibe going on that's quite comforting. Nevertheless, that's not very well going to help me find my way around this joint, now is it? The menu, which sits atop the page, is a little confusing at first. The options are listed as, "Home, Free Stuff, Members, Support." To actually access the content, you can either click the member's button, which brings up a nice little java-based drop-down menu.

As you'll notice, though, the latest updates are also strewn across the main page. In addition, there are links on the left-hand side of the page which lead to the content by month and year. Okay, they're certainly not going to win any awards for web design here, but I'm not seeing any major flaws on the main page, either. In fact, if I have complaints about anything, it's that I'm not sure I care for how they organize their babes.

Models are sorted in alphabetical order, and you only view one letter at a time. I realize there's a large number of them, but I actually wouldn't mind at least having the option of lumping them altogether on one page. At the very least, there should be some alternative method of browsing them. What's in a name, after all? I'd much rather search by body-type, hair color, etc. Oh, and I'm sure you're just itching to know this -- there are no models listed under the letter u. What's the deal here? They managed to find girls whose names start with the letters x and q, but no u? To be fair, though, it's obvious Simon has went a long way at putting an effort into this site. For instance, many of the video and picture sets contain quite a bit of shopping information, including a lengthy synopsis and relevant tidbits about the model. There's also a nice rating system, as well as the option for users to comment on individual photographs.

Boy, that Simon sure does have one heck of an eye. Sometimes, when you've got top shelf birds such as these, and a well skilled individual with behind the lense, it really all just comes together. And that's what I'm seeing here. Not only does he capture the hotness of lesbian action(believe me, there's plenty of freaky shit going on here) but he's also quite adept at capturing the beauty and the overall spirit of two women naked and in each other's warm embrace, sharing everything. One thing I see in general here, too, is variety. Both in the way of sets -- there were some gorgeous outdoor shots, set in many gorgeous locations spread out across europe -- but also sexually. I particularly enjoyed some of the dildo play and 69 action.

My main gripe would be, in some sets it just takes far too long until our objects of desire fully exposes themselves. What's the point in waiting till the very last page to show a little poontang? Hey, I like being teased as much as the next guy, but enough is enough. I mean, if I wanted to admire women's clothing, I'd subscribe to a fashion magazine or go shopping with my grandson. Thankfully, however, this little snafu doesn't seem to come up enough to really ruffle my feathers much. It seems that the majority of the sets have much more tolerable pacing.

I might add that, just as the tour promised, all the photographs here are high resolution. The average width of newer updates, is, in fact, over 3,000 pixels! There's also a bit of versatility shown here in how the galleries can be viewed. While there's no fancy slide show, you are given the option as to how many thumbnails are viewed per page( 16, 32, 64, 96, or all) but you can also download entire galleries compressed in a ZIP file.

Since they're almost like an extra, I checked out the videos section last. With more recent updates, you can either stream an MPEG file straight from your browser via an embedded player, or download the film directly to your hard drive, in your choice of either the Windows Media or Quicktime format. Both are top-notch, with good-sized resolutions and quality encoding. I found the action contained within to be quite good also.

Apparently that was Simon`s intention, and he seems to pride himself in this fact. Once you click a link to a video, you're greeted with a message from the main man himself, proclaiming that his girls most certainly are not faking it. So far as I can tell, he's not lying. It would, indeed, appear that all those noises and facial expressions we adore -- not to mention the teeth gnashing and and toe curling, the shudders and sights -- are 100% legit. The only bad thing is, they haven't updated them in quite some time. There's also not many of them at all in comparison to the photos, which I suppose is to be expected, but the number, nevertheless, still feels far too low to me. Perhaps this can be contributed to the fact that they haven't been updated in quite some time. A pity, really.

There's really not a whole lot offered up in the way of extras at Simon Scans, aside from a dubious looking webcam site link. Simon does have a blog, though, and he posts plenty of great shots of hot Euro gals on a frequent basis.
