Amateur Cruisers

My first impression of the tour is "boy there sure is a lot of cock here!". Being a straight dude, it's a bit more for my tastes but if you're into cock then hey, this might just be what you're seeking! One thing that impressed me about Amateur Cruisers was their wide variety of different kinds of men. Right on the tour pages you can see all of the hunks, studs, surfers, twinks and more. When you land inside of the site, they've got this week's update, next week's coming update, the month's most popular guy, and who's coming soon. They really like to keep you informed! Each guy on the site comes with vital stats including race, sexual orientation, and even dick size!

I jumped right to the image galleries first. The images load inside of this weird Flash player interface, so you have to make sure that you have Flash installed (most of you probably do already). It was kind of neat for about 5 seconds and then it got incredibly annoying. You have to wait for each picture to load into the Flash player and if you're not real familiar with this type of an interface, I could see it being confusing. The numbers across the bottom are the number of pictures in the set but it's sort of hard to understand that if you are just seeing this kind of a flash interface.

The photos themselves are just screen captures from movies. Some of them are actually quite blurry and a bit poor quality so I can see the need to jazz them up a bit with this nifty little Flash player interface. However I wasn't that impressed with it. I was more annoyed. I believe in the K.I.S.S. method of site design (that's "Keep It Simple, Stupid!"). I can definitely see a lot of computer illiterate people having trouble understanding how to view these pictures.

So I got out of the image galleries and went to the better route of viewing the guys at the model index. They offered every guy that you saw on the tour pages. All shapes and sizes and all races. They had some really good looking men on the site and I could see the appeal of a lot of them.

Their movie clips are offered in 4 different formats: WMV hi, WMV low, Real Media hi, and Real Media low. So this is a 56K friendly site if you are still on dialup. I opted to view the high speed WMV movies. They interview the guys a little bit and then the guys stroke themselves to an erection and where they go from there is up to them! They've got masturbation clips, hardcore flicks, some oral sex and more. Amazingly, there were a lot of 'straight' guys who were trying gay sex for the first time.

Otherwise on this site there is not really much bonus materials except a newsletter that you can join or a sex toy store that you can browse through. I thought the site was an average gay site. The Flash image viewer was a bit annoying and the pictures definitely could have been a better quality, but I thought the videos were fine and the fact that they're exclusive makes them all the better.
