The simple black, grey and red design that you see on the tour is continued inside the members’ area. There seems to be a lot of new, gay porn sites popping up recently and they are tending towards this simple and professional looking design. I thoroughly approve of this as there is nothing more annoying than flashy pop ups and overloaded pages showing hard-core cut and past pics. Anyway, back to Dixter.com…

Home page: 21 good sized thumbnails showing solo hunks and amateur studs, boys next door and generally very cute and well put together sexy men. There is one couple in action and several of the solo guys are using toys. This is a new site and we’re promised that hard-core and more action scenes will be coming soon. Meanwhile I’m going to look at one or two of the solo ones for you and let you know how they measure up.

The trouble is I don’t know which one to start with… o.k. So I’ve gone for Brock because he looks smooth and sexy and has a nice tattoo. I have two choices of viewing speed with a high and low bandwidth option. The movie is in Windows Media Player format; the lower quality file plays at 320 x 240 @ 225 kbps and the higher one is 640 x 480 @ 716 kbps. You can click the link and have the movie stream in your media player or you can right click and save it to your machine. There are no DRM restrictions – as promised – so you can keep these hot flicks for as long as you want.

Each movie comes with a description of the shoot and the webmaster’s thoughts about the guy, which makes for interesting reading. There are also shots from the shoot – small images 300 x 225 that show you some close ups of the hunk involved. As well as these though, you can access the Movie gallery and the Photo Shoot gallery proper – all from the same page. The Movie galleries have around 100 shots each they are 640 x 480 video camera shots but are not your usual fuzzy or out of focus screen caps, these are good ones! The Photo Shoot galleries are just as good with 480 x 720 sized images taken with a decent stills camera. They also follow the action of the solo jerk off scene but bring you only selected shots from it.

Now then, a small technical problem. I downloaded one scene and played it and ran into a problem: the scene jumped back to the beginning after a few seconds of playing. Strange… I tried streaming the same movie on line to check and it streamed just fine. Others that I checked were also o.k. so that file must have been a dud. If you get any problems you can contact webmaster through the support page that you will find at the bottom of each main page on the site. There is also a link to ‘help with viewing movie’ on each individual movie page.

And that’s about all I can tell you about this site at the moment: no frills, no extras, no feeds or unnecessary distractions… but then, with these hunky amateurs to drool and wank over you won’t need anything extra.
