The first thing that struck me about the membership area at Grooby VR was just how darn simple it was. Let me break it down for you. The main menu limits itself to four buttons, only one of which being necessary for browsing the content. Beneath that? A sea of debauched imagery accompanied by handy descriptive writing, not only informing you of what you might watch, but how much it'll cost you, too. Simple but effective.

Before we get into that, though, I think it is worth noting that these are not merely "chicks with dicks." No, anyone who browses this little treasure trove would be hard-pressed to miss that it has a carefully curated roster of models. You see, the talent scouts round these parts aren't just going for "passable," they're going for gorgeous. And I suppose that's why they are selling scenes featuring real stunners like Aubrey Kate, Alexa Scout, and Kayleigh Coxx, just to name a few. Oh, and as a nice little bonus, they thrown in the occasional smokin' hot cis-gender performer ala Riley Nixon.

Suffice to say, I couldn't wait to bust out my gear and immersed myself in a world of hot babes . . . each with little something extra. So, how are the videos, you ask? First off, this is 180° VR footage with accompanying audio that is binaural, which means you get sound that more than matches your head craning abilities, making the whole experience that much more realistic. And in addition to being filmed in such a way to cater to the technology, the performers always do their best to make you feel part of the action through eye contact and other more subtle but just as effective techniques, creating a sense of realism that goes beyond what you would find in regular old pornos. This is key, as you don't want some false move taking you out of the moment. Yes, in this reviewer's humble opinion, they have really nailed it; whether you are playing the role or voyeur or active participant, everything just feels right. Hell, even in the orgy scenes with their unnatural godlike views of the activities are still quite the experience. It's just so much fun panning the camera around and getting to view things that might ordinarily have been neglected by a camera operator who doesn't share your tastes.

What truly piqued my interest, though, was their tour promise of being able to immerse yourself as the male performer or the t-girl performer. Due to personal preference, I spent quite a bit of time enjoying the male P.O.V. scenes, and I must say that they've done a bang up job. The eye-contact and acting I was referring to earlier really comes into play here, and it is obvious that these girls have been well rehearsed in all of the subtleties of good P.O.V. work. I had a bang up time virtually fucking these trannies, and I was pleased as punch to see that a lot of these scenes included heavy missionary action with plenty of "helping hands" thrown in. So hot.

Taking on the role of the t-girls was, admittedly, a strange experience, but I can see how someone who is actively pursuing this particular fantasy — or, hell, even someone who is merely just curious — would get a big kick out of these scenes. The male performers are all good looking and fit and do a fine job of giving these gals a proper pounding. Of course, it also doesn't hurt that most scenes end with a nice money shot on the tits, giving you a well rounded porno experience.

I was pleased that they cater to number of different brands of VR gear. At the moment there are formats for the Oculus Rift, Vive, Samsung Gear VR, Playstation VR, and even one to accommodate your smartphone. Sadly, they currently don't really offer anything in the way of streaming beyond the 1-2 minute previews of each scene.

Besides paying for the whole site with the monthly membership fee, they also have the on-demand method of delivery for content. Most of the site's 329 scenes can be purchased for $12 dollars, but I did count seven scenes as low as $10 dollars and even a solo scene featuring the lovely Fernanda Marques for as low as $5. They also offer several discount packs where you can get four scenes for as low as $40 dollars and six scenes for $50. So, there are definitely deals to be had here.

My only beef with this site is that there just isn't a whole lot of content just yet. This could ordinarily just be chalked up to either being new, or, god forbid, pure laziness, but since there is a lack of timestamps here, it is much harder to pin them down to an update schedule, let alone estimate how long members will have to wait for their archives to fill out.

On a related note, those who signed up to "immerse themselves" as "the t-girl performer" will undoubtedly be disappointed to find only two scenes shot from the transgender point-of-view. initially I had thought there were three, but I soon realized that the third video listed in this section of the site was actually a "discount pack" featuring a number of scenes from the site, none of which were from the t-girl's perspective.

In their defense, I've gathered that this site is rather new, and given the high caliber of their models and filming techniques, it is understandable that they aren't just cranking out scenes willy-nilly. Nevertheless, I hope they stock up on some new scenes soon — particularly in the t-girl P.O.V. category.
