I'm getting very excited about this site as I've never seen it before, it’s new to me and I do love to find something unique and different…

Ok, so apart from some fiddling with the top banner and the top of the home page, the site is running on a tried and tested (by other people) template design, but that’s ok. You've got updates and names, top lists and news, so you know what’s going on and it’s a design which has always worked well wherever I've seen it. And, more importantly, it does not distract you from the content. I was met by pic after pic of smooth and horny Euro-boy studs and twinks, sucking and balling and showing off all their top assets.

I clicked straight to the videos area and found 702 movies; not the one thousand plus that the tour had stated, but there is also a bonus DVD area to come back to, so I expect that is where the other are to be found. You can sort the video list by name, date and most popular, you can rate movies too, and you are given a title plus a good sample pic for each one. You can also check the update dates here, and there is something new being added very regularly, well, every day it seems in the video department. And as for viewing options, I don't think I've seen so many. There are WMV, iPod, Mpg and Avi downloads, plus Flash and other streams, various resolutions per film, full length scenes and clips to run… it really is one of the most comprehensive lists of viewing choices I've seen in a long while.

The quality comes out fine too, depending on what you've decided to view. But each of the movies is well put together and well shot, and certainly well acted, in a very natural fashion. The scenes were also varied, though all ended up with guys fucking and cum shots, there were solos, military boys, pairs, groups, foursomes, indoor and outdoor shoots, cute twinks, horny jocks, you name it as long as it’s hair-free young and hung then it’s going on in here. But are they exclusive movies? We’re told so and there is nothing suggest otherwise. I didn’t recognise any, that’s for sure. So, a great collection that is building every day, very good viewing choices, easy to access and good quality movies. What else does Hammer Boys hit us over the head with?

Check the Photos area: here you have… oh, one photo set with 73 pics, not what I was expecting. And, actually, the thumbnail images are not there anyway, so I don’t know what’s going on there, but if you click one of the missing image icons at random you will get a huge picture opening up. And I mean vast! (3504 x 2336, too big for my monitor.) It would be good to know what, if anything, is happening with the galleries and pics, a little bit of information goes a long way. Slideshows are available, but with images taking this long to appear you’d be in for a long wait. Let’s hope this gallery area gets sorted out very soon.

Meanwhile, you can check the model index too, and this was interesting. In most cases you get a shot from a movie and a link to that scene, sometimes it’s a guy’s name, sometimes you get a more standard face or body shot, and the links lead you to a page showing you what each boy appears in, but the stats are missing. The index pages also held images that were too big for the template so they ran off to the right, over the background, and looked messy. This visual ‘oops’ may look fine depending on your browser and settings though, and it’s not a huge issue. What’s more of a concern is the missing FAQ page, though there are clear links on pages to help and support if needed.

So, the videos are great, the viewing is fab, but the images and model index and FAQ page need work. The DVDs link led me back to the home page but still proudly announced 1,670 full length movies. I never did find them (unless 'full length means 'clips').
