Everything is very simple here. There is nothing complicated or flashy about the site, it runs smoothly and well, it delivers on its promises and it is all about making sure you get to see top class movies for a decent price.

And we are indeed talking quality. From companies such as C1R, Catalina, Rascal and All World Video, and with directors like Dirk Yates in charge you’re not going to go wrong. Recently the site has also added 12 full length movies from Titan Media to its growing stock of porn, which, when I visited, brought the total of DVDs up to 2497; and there is that promise of two new uploads each week, don’t forget.

Movies run for up to two hours each, so even if you averaged each one at 90 minutes, that still gives you 468 hours’ of viewing, or around 19 and a half non-stop days. Not a bad time count really, when you consider that you are paying only a standard to low monthly fee to view all this. But the catch is that you can only view online, so you’re not going to be able to download and keep these movies. If you want to watch them when you’re not online you will have to go to the stores and pay for the full priced, hard copy of those that have been released. But streaming isn’t really a problem. I mean, you’re not paying much to remain a member, as I said, and you get up to eight bit rates in which to stream. You select a title, click the play option (or the Info option for a little more info before you play) and then the player will detect the best bit rate for your connection. If you don't agree you simply change it. You can go full screen and jump around the full DVD as much as you want. All very simple and effective.

You won’t find galleries here and there are not even screen caps or sample shots, the DVDs are not broken down into individual scenes, though the start of new scenes is marked in the media player. You don’t get involved, there are no rates, comments, forums or anything like that; it’s all about taking you straight to the hardcore, and what’s wrong with that?

Nothing is wrong with that, as long as you know what to expect before you sign up and the tour, if you read between the lines, does make it clear that this is what you are getting. And it’s easy to find what you want to see, once you are inside the members’ area. You can search out all titles by studio, as a full list, or by category. There’s a left-list with 17 categories and, once selected, the pages reload quickly to show you 20 box shots per page, with index pages numbers along the bottom. Again, it’s functional and simple.

Or you might want to search out the model index where you find 617 guys pictured with face pics. Click one and there’s his list of appearances. Again, there is not a lot of info or detail here, but it is another quick and simple way to get to the excellent quality, professionally made, well presented porn. And that, in a nutshell, is what Male Vault is all about.
