Virtuagirl HD sounds almost too good to be true. Potential members are promised a collection of over 1,600 girls dating back to 1998, all ready and willing to strip for you in glorious 1080p high-definition and beyond. This isn't just videos, though. It's software that allows to watch — even manipulate — these girls on your very own desktop. It sounds crazy, but with over 21,000,000 members, they must be doing something right. So, let's find out what something is, eh?

First off, I have to say that I'm about as paranoid as they come when dealing with software. I mean, even the supposedly reputable sources out there have been known to slip in a little spyware now and then, so one can never be too careful. Which is why I decided to test the Virtuagirl HD software on multiple virtual machines with Windows 7 installed. In fact, I checked it on these machines simultaneously(so the software would not interfere with each other) with different brands of anti-virus and security software, and none of these packages caught any malicious activity, whatsoever. I also made sure to use a next-generation firewall with unified threat management.
With that having been said, however, don't take this clean bill of health as a total pass. If you aren't keeping your computer up to date, people looking to penetrate machines needn't concern themselves with the latest zero-day-exploits, as there will be plenty of other gaping holes to chase instead. And the former would be caught by most anti-virus software, anyway. Also, a lot of spyware is injected through bad advertisements which are usually part of some 3rd party ad solution, so this could all someday be for naught. Although, if I had to bet on it, I'd say this software is completely safe.
So, with all that technical gobbly goop out of the way, let's talk about what we came here to talk about: gorgeous women stripping on our desktops. Well, that's precisely what you get with this software. Once installed, I had multiple miniaturized women strutting their stuff above my start menu. Clicking on one enlarged her to a much more enjoyable size, and I soon realized that, in addition to being able to move her location with my mouse, right-clicking her would allow me to see a list of options, including getting her to do a preview striptease, as well as purchasing a full show.
The full shows, as it turns out, are surprisingly affordable. For just 3 credits(approximately $6 dollars with the lower-end credit packages), you can get a 35-minute-long show featuring a great striptease and full frontal nudity. This isn't some pixelated garbage like those old Budweiser Frog screensavers, either. This is 720p and 1080p high-definition footage. What's more, in addition to owning these shows for a lifetime, you also get plenty of extras with them, too.
For instance, a recent show I purchased with a gorgeous Latvian model named Heidi Romanova included a bonus video and 64 high-res(3,003 × 4,500 pixels!), watermark free photographs.
Also, these downloads come in the form of collectible "cards." One cool thing about this is that most models have multiple cards, often with different costumes and personas attached. So, if you find a girl you really liked watching strip, perhaps you'd like to see her perform as a nurse, too? Or maybe even a military commando? The sky is the limit.
As great as all that is, though, I think one of the most impressive aspects of this site, and one that really initially piqued my interest more than anything else, is the size of its community. As I write this there's over 21,000,000 members, and a surprising percentage of them are active, too. I can't find a model page or card that doesn't feature tons of comments. And the forums have new posts rising to the top every hour. Which goes to show there's a whole lot of people very interested in this sort of software.
Anyway, the software itself has a nice feature which gives you several new girls to choose from each day. But if that's not enough for you, you can always browse by card on the site. There's currently 1996 to choose from, featuring over 1,600 different models. So, if you factor in the bonus videos and galleries that come with these purchases, that's a whole hell of a lot of potential masturbation material. That is, if you're horny — and wealthy — enough to buy it all.
So, what are the downsides? Well, there aren't many that I can see. Admittedly, there are some features of the software that I found mildly annoying. It took me a while to figure out how to click these little chicks without having them vanish before my eyes after a few moments. And I definitely could have done with a bit more of a preview before going all in with my credits.
I think my biggest grip, however, would be that these "cards" can only be viewed using the site's software. So, even if you do get to own them for a "lifetime" as advertised, you may someday find yourself using antiquated software on antiquated machinery to do so. Then again, the site's been going strong since 1998, so perhaps that will never be the case. I suppose only time will tell.
Virtuagirl HD is certainly one of the most unique porn concepts I've had the pleasure of encountering. Admittedly, I'm not sure if it's exactly my particular cup of tea, but I can see how a lot of people would find this very appealing. I mean, it sure beats the hell out of most strip clubs. First off, the models are of a much higher caliber, and since when can you get over a half hour of full frontal nudity for a few bucks? Either way, don't take my word for it. Membership is free, and you can purchase enough credits to buy four shows for around $12 bucks.
