The design is, admittedly, modest. But don't let that scare you off. The site's still quite new, and, as a result, relatively small. So, there's no need for an abundance of navigational tools. Not yet, anyway. What you will find is a good-looking and relatively straight-forward layout. Hell, even my 90-year-old grandma could find her way around this joint.

I must confess, upon my initial login, I wasn't all that concerned about the layout. I felt like digging deep, so I went straight for the meat of the matter: the content. More specifically, the videos. And, I have to admit, they're spectacular. The first thing I noticed was, even since the early days, there's always been a minimum of 7 video options, and that's in two video formats no less. As of now they're up to a whopping 11, split up roughly evenly between the MPEG-4 and Windows Media formats. Not too shabby. Neither are the results, for that matter; connoisseurs can enjoy Charmane in vivid detail thanks to great lighting and 720p and 1080p HD video. It's also worth noting that video quality has risen dramatically since the site launched just 4 short months ago.

And so far as the action is concerned, well, it's much more risqué than what you'll find at your typical porn star site. This gal isn't afraid to go all out, so in addition mesmerizingly sensual solo masturbation, you'll find threesomes, full penetration, and even a little light bondage. Speaking of a lack of features, though the idea of sticking to the bare necessities is modest, forgoing a model index is a bit much. And since Miss Star can be seen engaging in debauched activities with multiple partners, it makes me wonder why said partners don't have their own pages.

In the site's defense, though, they certainly do apply an adequate amount of information about Charmane. The page has a long list of "likes" and "dislikes," and, in addition to giving us a glimpse at her sex life beyond what we see in the content — for example, unless you're a mind-reader, I doubt you'd know her favorite toy is the Brookstone massager, or that she prefers coffee to tea.

Again, though, this is far from perfect. Because, while we have a pretty intricate bio for our main star, ew're still getting zip in way of interaction with her. There's no forums, no live cam action ... not even a blog.

But the site's biggest hole is, without a doubt, its lack of content. In their defense, not enough content. As I write this this, there's a mere 38 photo galleries and 29 scenes. In their defense, however, they launched just 4 short months ago, so they really haven't had time to crank out grand slam numbers — not without sacrificing quality, anyway.
