Not surprisingly, the sense of mystery and foreboding has carried its way from the tour right into the main members page. The place has a color palette made up mostly of blacks and greys and sports a background I can only describe as ancient, smoke-stained wallpaper. The spooky décor combined with picture after picture of femme fatales dressed in their best funeral garb made for a menacingly dark atmosphere that, at least in my case, brought on a confusing mixture of overwhelming dread and the irresistible urge to masturbate immediately.

Though it may in some ways resemble a dusty old haunted house, you won't be stumbling through the dark without a flash light. There's a menu at the top of the page, a side-bar containing hot featured content, and the rest is filled out with links to the latest updates. The main menu is fairly straight-forward so I won't bore you with the details, but I did notice an auction feature. The main items seem to scene worn wardrobe items and toys. If I was disappointed by anything at all, it would have to be the forum. Currently it basically amounts to one thread celebrating the site's launch. By current count there are 70 photo galleries and and 250 movies. Not the greatest numbers in the world, but the site didn't get its start until mid 2009, so I'll give them the benefit of a doubt. There's usually around 80 images contained within each set, and ful galleries can be downloaded if you wish. As usual, the photography is out of this world. I really love that they were using all of these off-beat, supposedly haunted locations. Abandoned Hospitals, boiler rooms, haunted houses, you name it! Of course, a fog machine and proper lighting could probably make anything look creepy. But it's nice to know they didn't take any short-cuts. Unfortunately, there's no fancy viewing gadgets or slide-show doo-hickeys, but when you're viewing pictures of this calibre, you tend not to notice things like that.

As I touched upon earlier, there are less videos than pictures. They are updated with less regularity but perhaps you'll take it as some form of consolation that the videos are of the utmost quality. They've definitely improved in the last few years. There are multi-bandwidth options, even a mobile file, but the King of them all is the high-quality Windows Media file. The play-back quality was great and it had a more than suitable resolution. The lower quality options were good, also, and I found them to be suitably spaced out in terms of file-size and quality.

Downloads were quick, too. I clocked the average rate to be around 1.1 megs-per-second. All in all, a good deal. Although it would be nice if the scenes were a little longer. The average running time is 8 minutes which is, well, a little on the short side. A shame, really, considering what lovely meat they have to work with. That plus the music creeping in was a little annoying. I like my moaning and wailing non-stop, even if their heart isn't into it. It sets the mood. On a more positive note, these creatures of the night have covered far more niches than I had anticipated.
