Pornstar Empire

Well, once logged in there was no mistaking that I was in the right place. The page main page is topped with a massive centerfold-style shot of a lingerie-clad Kendra Lust mugging seductively for the camera. Clicking the arrow just to the right changed that to an equally alluring shot of Alexis Texas. Another click brought me face-to-face with a topless Nikki Benz. I could continue to click my mouse and list porn stars all day, but I think you get the picture. Anyway, as it turns out, those are just a few of the porn stars featured here. In fact, if my count is correct, there's just under 5,500, a impressively high percentage of which are names any avid follower of the porn scene would be sure to recognize.

Perhaps even more impressive is that most have multiple scenes featured on the site, and if you've been paying attention you'll realize that makes for quite the sizeable archive indeed. As I write this there are 240699 scenes and on the site, with more coming in on a daily basis.

Naturally, storing and organizing all of that content in one site is quite the undertaking, but fortunately for us, one they seem to have managed just fine. The layout is neat, good looking, and perhaps most importantly of all, straight-forward and intuitive. Content can be browsed using a number of filters, ranging from pornstar and popularity(every episode on the site can be rated by its members), or with the aid a very nifty little search engine. On that note, the 346 niche tags are as good a place as any sort your content. Given the site's theme, however, I think sorting by star is the most appropriate option. But it's ultimately up to you, isn't it?

I have to admit, when I came to realize the sheer volume of content here, I started to give up hope of any of it being exclusive. Thankfully, I was wrong. While the bulk of these movies are, admittedly, not exclusive to the network, there's still quite a number of them that are. Better still, all of the original content is available in 4k high-definition. So, if you thought this is just a tube site hiding behind a pay wall, think again.

Of course, even if all of their content isn't original, is that really such a bad thing? I mean, one big advantage of obtaining so much content from such a wide variety of sources is that you'll almost invariably end up with a whole hell of a lot of variety — which is precisely the case at Pornstar Empire; In addition to the expected standard hardcore fare, I found myself jerking off to shockingly rough BDSM, elegantly styled glam, and wonderfully convincing trannies. It's a real taster's choice of smut.

And even though the exclusive content on this site is the only content which is available in 4k HD, that's not to say it is the only HD content on site. There are actually many of the other scenes available in varying degrees of HD, too, with 720p being the more prevalent. Sadly, however, the bulk of the 240699 videos on the site are not. So, if playback superb playback quality is important to you, this probably isn't the site for you.

Personally, I don't need every video in the archive to be HD. What would be nice, though, is being able to actually download them, adding them to my collection for later use. But for the time being, that is simply not possible, and members will instead will have to make do streaming them via the site's embedded player. How disappointing.

On a similar note, as much as I enjoyed the layout design, I felt they could have went much further with their browse tools. This is, after all, quite the sizeable archive. Advanced navigational gizmos aside, a few minor tweaks and additions to their pre-existing tools would have went a very long way indeed. For instance, a simple "high-definition" tag would be a godsend.

Frankly, with so much content to here to devour, and more coming with as many as 40 new updates each day, it seems almost silly for there to be any bonus content. But, hell, I'm not going to complain. So, if the 240699 videos on site aren't enough for you, then perhaps the videos at Adult Empire, Adult DVD Empire, and Gay Empire will be.
