Most of the sites that come across our radar are straight-up monthly membership sites, so when a different model rears its head, we take notice. All Adult Channel is only the second pay-per-view (PPV) network that we have reviewed, so I was eager to see how it stacks up against the competition.
There are currently 42 categories of video for you to choose from. You’ll find that some categories have more video selections than others. For instance, the “Blondes” category is not as populated as the “Eighteen +” category. Once I started exploring the different categories, I found the navigation to be lacking in one small (but very important) area.
Clicking into a category, you might think that there are only 8 videos in each. However, to see all the videos, you have to scroll past the spotlight items, top views, and recommended items to look for a text link that says “View All [Category]”. This text link is light blue on a white background and comes in small font. You could almost miss it. I did miss it. This link also does not appear anywhere at the top of the page. In my opinion, this link needs to be made more apparent so that you can choose to look at every DVD selection in a category rather than scrolling through all the other mess.

Once you choose a video, you can start it from the beginning and watch the entire movie or go right to the scene/girl that grabs you the most. Most videos allow you several different ways to view. You can stream the entire video at 700k quality, download the movie (limited viewing or download to own), or choose the pay-per-minute option. With either the streaming or download options, you will pay for only the time that you use or buy the entire video rather than incurring recurring monthly charges.

You can choose to watch your chosen scene at regular, large, or full screen mode. You can also save your favorite scenes to a special bookmark area so that when you come back, you can find them quickly and go right to that particular scene that just makes you cream.
By far the coolest feature is that with a broadband connection, you can watch the movies on your home television. If you have a plasma or LCD, that’s probably a pretty kick-ass picture. It’s these little perks that make All Adult Channel a VOD site that is simple and fun to use.
This site offers many of the more popular series and stars that savvy porn fans are looking for. I found Hustler’s Barely Legal line, the long-running lesbian line, Where the Boys Aren’t, and many of the ever-popular Jenna Jameson titles. While there’s more than enough quality porn here for any person to enjoy, I did find the videos a little limited. There are no bondage or fetish videos and some of the selections seem a little dated. You won’t find the hottest new releases on the menu at this site.
This VOD site has two truly awesome categories that others might not — Cult films and Classics. You’ll find the porn from the 1970’s like the Linda Lovelace flick, Deep Throat, as well as Varietease, about the world of burlesque and starring Bettie Page.
The pricing is a little more complicated than your average paysite, so the prices are as follows:

For porn fans, vod vs. monthly membership is like asking car buyers “lease vs. buy”. Some love it, some hate it. You can’t help but compare this one to other well-known video-on-demand sites. While I found this selection of videos not as wide as other sites, categories like Cult movies and Classic porn made that up with unique videos that would be hard to find elsewhere.
