UC SC Femdom

The UC SC Femdom founders are very up-front about their philosophy. Right from the get go, it's obvious this isn't your run of the mill femdom site. It has a certain uniqueness and savagery that give it an indefinable something extra that, at least for this reviewer, heightens the overall experience. I'm sure this is due, in no small part, to those who actually run the site. And as the disclaimer clearly states, "the UC-SC is run and owned by real life dominant women," and that "For us, the male is a machine, a walking dildo, but very useful for this reason."

This carries over into the style of the main members area, a page with a very edgy, non-conformist look to it. Still, though, in spite of the wild look, it's quite well organized and laid out in such a fashion that finding your poison is fast and simple. The body of the page seems to be dedicated to links to recent content and tidbits of site news, while the right-hand side of the page takes on the job of holding all the menus. The main menu allows you to access content separated by media-type, as well as a regularly updated series of video-blogs. There's also an archive, separated by month, and an update calender, with recent updates listed by title, also.

Even though they didn't get their start until August of this year, they've still managed to put together quite a respectable little archive with such short notice. Thanks to their daily update schedule, there are already 104 photo galleries and 96 scenes for your viewing pleasure. That sort of pace would be impressive for even a mediocre bondage site, but the content here, as it turns out, is actually pretty good.

Though these women aren't decked out in your typical dominatrix attire, there's still, for better or worse, many similarities to what you'd see on a slew of other BDSM sites. The classic trademarks are all there; the often low-lit, frightening sets, gritty feel, and that constant undercurrent of overwhelming dread. That's not to say that style is the only thing that sets them apart from the rest of the pack, however — quite the contrary, in fact. In addition to the usual face-sitting, trampling, and watersports, they've added in quite a few more extreme practices. They can also, at times, be quite creative. One episode really stood out.

The scene started with a man dangling from a chain mounted to the ceiling. When a masked woman strutted in wearing 20 ounce boxing gloves, it became quite clear what about to happen. Needles to say, the human version of a heavybag suffered a series of hard body-shots, many to the liver and several illegal blows to the kidneys. I'm guessing her arms got tired, because toward the end she resorted to kicking him in the shins and thighs. But the brutality isn't always so hands-on. In another scene a man labeled a "capitalist pig" was forced to eat what, as far as I can tell, was actual garbage straight out of a trash-can. Other scenes were more plot driven, with subjects being tortured for information. The use of electrocution, even gun barrels up the anus, are not uncommon practices here.

Their seemingly never-ending supply of sissies are subjected extensive torture — both mental and physical — often interrogated using methods you may have read about in the paper or seen on the television. The terror is amplified with the usage of kidnapping situations, guns and knives often involved, to keep the hostages in line. What I found most interesting, though, was their usage of hypnotism and brain-washing techniques. A practice that doesn't seem to be limited to the subbies on-screen. At random intervals, mid-scene, messages backed by a hypnosis spiral pop up. "You Will Obey," said one. "You Are A Pathetic Walking Dildo," said another. I quickly averted my gaze, trying my best to fight off the powerful urge to obey.

One of the major downfalls of the videos, however, is that there seems to be no clear-cut, on-site solution for downloading them. Instead, your only choice is to stream them via an embedded player on the site, with no options in regards to resolution or format. Worse yet, during peak hours the videos would sometimes suffer from buffering issues, with the stream coming in at a paltry 550 kilobytes-per-second. Fortunately, this doesn't seem all that common, but still a minor annoyance, nonetheless. This site is spectacular at delivering a wide range of fetishes and masochistic savagery, but I do wish they'd consider making these things easier to add to our own personal collections.

The videos are a mixture of M4Vs, various MPEGs, and, most recently, of the Quicktime variety. It's also worth mentioning that all the videos have very descriptive titles and wildly entertaining synopses. So, making a selection is usually a no-brainer. True, niche tags and a search engine wouldn't hurt, but I think that, at least for the time being, they're doing just fine.

The photos themselves are fine, sporting a nice resolution, well lit and shot, and chalk full of plenty of sadistic shit. What I'm not so big of a fan though, is their viewer. It seems clicking an image automatically brings it in a java-based pop-up that, more often than not, is slow loading. To me, it just seems unnecessary. They seem to be going for the minimalistic approach anyway, what with the galleries all laid out there with no separate page of their own, so why the flash? True, the slide-show function is nice. But why can't it be optional? I was also bummed out that I couldn't download full galleries.
