Cherry Pimps

With a name like Cherry Pimps, I half expected to find a harem of young virgins under the charge of sleazy old men whose hairy chests are adorned with gold chains. As it turns out, what I found was equally hot, so I was not disappointed.

The first thing I noticed upon logging in was the 3 countdown clocks at the top of the page. This made me a little nervous until I realized that they were counting down to cam shows. As it turns out, they 3 every week, each one of 'em showcasing a different porn star. Since I had a few hours to kill until the next show started, I figured I would investigate their pre-recorded content. Which, as it turns out, there was a hell of a lot of.

Hell, in the past month alone they added 40 new updates, and as I made my way through their archive, which dates all the way back to the beginning of 2003, I quickly realized that that level of activity was the norm. So, it is no wonder that they have accumulated 7048 scenes and photo galleries.

In case you didn't already know, this is a bonafide megasite, and until recently it contained a number of individual sites dedicated to everything from solo action, blowjobs, MILFs, old/young pairings, and all other manner of raunchiness. For whatever reason, though, it seems that all of the content has been melded together in one massive archive. As a result, you get what I can only describe as a smorgasbord of debauchery.

One episode might be an almost tame solo scene featuring a lesser known porn star, then the next a wild orgy featuring someone like Dillion Harper or Natasha Starr. I have personally witnessed tit-fucking(with painfully clamped nipples), footjobs, borderline incest, and all manner of ménage à trois and orgies. They also mix in the occasional archived show or racy interview with porn stars.

I often run into sites, sometimes even full networks, where the content is utterly devoid of dialogue. This is often due to language barriers I'm sure, but I find it just causes the content to lose a little something that can be quite helpful in its ultimate goal: getting you off. Here, however, the girls are quite vocal. Even in the solo scenes it is common for them to be addressing the camera as if it were you, saying how they want you to cum or just telling you what a pathetic piece of shit you are.

Obviously this is more common in the live shows, which do have fan interaction, but it is quite common in the pre-recorded episodes, too. The one-on-one scenes also usually have fun dialogue and wacky plots and scenarios. Very cool.

Another major plus is that this site got into HD early in the game. So, you can find updates as far back as 2005 with 720p and 1080p footage. I'd estimate that over 90% of their archive is available in, at minimum, 720p HD. As far as the latest scenes are concerned, you can expect 7 different playback qualities, with resolutions ranging from 360p all the way up to 2,160p 4k HD.

I also really dig that the 1080p HD is served up in 3 different bitrates. I highly recommend the 20mbps option, but be warned: it can be quite hefty at 8 gigs. Fortunately, download speeds are somewhere in the 8-10 megs-per-second range at worst, so it shouldn't take too long to download even the 2,160p scenes.

Streaming is limited to 5 formats currently, but they do include 15mbps and 10mbps 1080p, so I can't complain too awful much. The embedded player also has some sweet options, and didn't suffer from any buffering issues no matter how much I tried to abuse it.

Every scene has its own attached photo and screen cap galleries. I won't waste your time talking about the latter, but so far as the photos are concerned, you can expect a nice looking 1,024 x 682 res in the galleries. For high-res photos, you'll have to download the full gallery compressed in a ZIP. I highly recommend you do this, however, as they are dramatically larger at 5,760 x 3,840 pixels. The only downside, however, is that just like their video counterparts, they can be quite hefty. I have found the average ZIP of over 100 shots to be just under a gigabyte.

My only major beef with this network is that its navigation just isn't what you'd expect for a site that houses so goddamn much content. The massive list of niche filters in the advanced search is nice and all, but I just feel like there should be more. They also might want to make browsing by site a little easier, too. Admittedly, being able to skip to the very end of the archive with the "last" button helps somewhat with their pagination issues, but it just isn't enough.
