Slim 4K

Slim 4K launched 4 months ago. Usually that would be a recipe for very little content, but the folks behind-the-scenes have been busy. In those four short months they have posted 792 updates, and as I scroll through their archives I see a nice trend of a new scene being added daily.

The other apparent trend was an expected one. Make no mistake: these babes are petite, just as advertised; flat chests and visible ribs are not uncommon. And believe you me — it makes for a stark contrast when they are being impaled by massive porn star dongs. Alot of these gals could moonlight as non-nude models, but I appreciated the fact they include some girl-next-door types to scratch that itch as well.

Content is neatly arranged in a fairly straight-forward but effective layout. There are 7 main categories from which you can filter content: Creampie, Anal, Cumshot, Threesome, Hardcore, DP, and Squirt. Each, by the way, has its own approval rating percentage, which I thought was a neat touch. Anyway, Cumshots and Anal are the reigning kings, with the former housing 228 scenes and the latter 118. Although with facials being such a popular way to close the show in the porn world, that's hardly surprising.

What did surprise me — although given the nature of the site and the promises on its tour page, it probably shouldn't have — was the level of care and the overall caliber of quality of these scenes. They milk that 4k playback quality for all its worth with great lighting and a seemingly unlimited number of camera angles to perfectly capture the action. They usually aren't too big on dialogue, either, which means the actors get right down to business, giving you a full half hour of fun.

I also appreciated that they held true to that tour promise of "sensual clips" and genuine orgasms. The performers seem hungry, and at times I felt as if I were witnessing genuine passion. Of course, it doesn't hurt that both performers are usually fit and extremely good-looking either.

Videos come in the expected 4k HD format, which is looks superb, but they also come in 720p and 1080p HD as well. All files are in the MPEG-4 format, and download speeds usually bounced back-and-forth between 6-7 megs-per-second. All of the above applies to streaming as well, which, incidentally, went off without a hitch. I prefer downloading, but some of the 4k files are upwards of 8 gigs, so you may want to invest in some extra storage space if you're planning to be in it for the long haul. Oh, and I should also mention that each scene has a insightful synopsis, technical stats, as well as categories and tags.

The scenes are also accompanied by still galleries, which usually hold somewhere in the neighborhood of 40-80 shots with dimensions of 2,880 x 1,920 pixels. My only gripes would be that often include fully-clothed and redundant images, as well as the fact many don't have the option for downloading the full album. Some ZIPs would be nice.

Since the site is so new, some bonus content would have been nice. But given their current update schedule, I don't see this being an issue for much longer.
