At first glance, the membership area is user-friendly and straight forward enough. The main menu functions well, limiting itself only to the bare necessities. Better still, content can be sorted using 36 different categories, ranging from the expected like lesbians and interracial to their more off-kilter parody films and kinky S&M shoots. Great for those whose tastes gravity wildly from day-to-day.

On that note, one great thing about this being a well established, well funded operation like Vivid.com is that you can expect to see grade-A eye candy. There were just over 1,200 models listed, and in addition to a lot of hot fresh faces, I couldn't help but notice there was gloriously high percentage of genuine porno stars.

Of course, that professionalism carries over into the content, too. In all honesty, all those decades of honing their craft really do shine through in these scenes, and since they were never afraid of the more kinky and niche content, that means you can find serious incest and other alt-fetish scenes that haven't been filmed this well since Taboo in 1980.

In fact, so far as the content is concerned, I really have no complaints. The only think that sort of irks me is that I can't download any of it. For whatever reason they have limited these gems to streaming only.

Vivid has a catalogue of over 700 films at its diposal, goign all the way back to the mid '80s. So, even if they were to stop their frequent updates(they average damn near daily updates at the moment) tomorrow, they'd still be have a surplus of titles to draw upon for the foreseeable future.

There were also 3282 photo sets, each housing around 30 decently sized(800 x 1,200 pixels) photographs. Unlike their video brethren, these babies didn't have any sort of timestamps. So, I have no idea how often, if ever, they add to them. Like the videos, however, they don't provide anything in the way of resolution choices or download options. Bummer.

I also can't say I was all that pleased with their navigation in general. While it looked pleasingly simple on the surface, having to browse the archive 24 scenes at a time, repeatedly clicking, can be tiresome. Factor in the site freezing 60-70 clicks in with some browsers and you've got yourself a recipe for disaster. No, with so much content, there simply needs to be better organization and more browse-tools.

On the bright side, your membership includes access to plenty of kinky niche sites. So perhaps the likes of Nasty Step Family and Orgy Train can help cushion those blows.
