Erotic Destinations

With a stickler for detail like Martin running the show, I expected Erotic Destinations to have a complicated and thorough layout. While it's most definitely intricate and well organized, it's actually far from complex. Perhaps Krake, who has probably witnessed first-hand that beauty can thrive in simple packages, went with his gut and decided a more simple design would be fitting. Nevertheless, with the current layout finding your way around really is a no-brainer. Indeed, with features like being able to preselect resolution sizes and organize the model roster by date, name, birth, popularity, hair color, and about a billion other options, I found myself quickly becoming a fan of the setup.

Of course, the content, too, played a huge role in winning me over. Krake really delivered, matching, often exceeding the memories I had of his earlier works. He's rounded up some perfect-10 seductresses to slowly undress, sometimes as a group, whilst mugging and moaning for the camera. It seems he's still up for travel, also, as the beautiful scenery still there. Honestly, the backdrops change so often, I don't see how he has time to hop so many continents. On that note, I think he could make a lot of extra money having his shots displayed in various countries travel guides. I guarantee the rate of tourism would skyrocket!

And since the site's proprietor is a man of exquisite tastes, I'm sure it will come as no great surprise to you that he's acquired top-of-the-line talent for his various shoots. Last I checked there were 64 of them, the bulk of which seem to be of either European or Latin descent. I was a bit let down to find so few details listed on each model page. Date of birth, height, and first name really don't interest me all that much. The name, in most cases, is probably a lie, and honestly, I could care less what her sign is. I'd love if they'd include a bio, even a brief one, and perhaps one of those Playboy style Q&As. But at least they were good enough to include links to all the models' previous works.

The video clips have an average running time of 7 minutes and come in your choice of a Windows Media or DiVx file. Or if storing porn on your P.C. is a no-no, streaming directly via a jet-black embedded flash player. Both methods were quite fast, with the former clocking in at over a meg-per-second and the latter streaming effortlessly. Most of the newer updates have a true H.D. quality option, too, which I honestly didn't expect from a site primarily focused on still photography. All in all, I'm impressed.

As I touched upon earlier, photos are served up in three separate resolutions and, upon entering the members page, you can set any of the aforementioned photo sizes as your default preference. To be candid, though, I was a little let down by the lack of a true high-res, full-screen option. The resolutions displayed, (400 x 600, 500 x 750, 600 x 900) while certainly adequate, just don't live up to the quality of the photos themselves. I found myself shaking my fist at the sky and shouting, "These beautiful shots deserve better!" Disappointment and anger soon turned to relief, however, when I found myself drooling over a resolution option not offered up on the main page: 3,300 x 5,000 pixels! Why they chose to hide it away on the actual gallery pages themselves, I do not know, but thank God it's there.

Admittedly, older sets don't quite hold up to the newer ones, but if you compare the image quality the date of the releases, you'll notice that they were always well above the average mark. And just in case you're wondering how many you can expect to jerk off to, there's currently around 480 sets so far, with an average of 45 pics each.

While the site may not offer any fancy extras or bonus content, they do offer something else — something much more unique. First off, the price of membership is, in my opinion, insanely low at $12.00 USD per month. But, perhaps in an effort to prove their insanity, they've upped the ante and offered to reward loyal members by taking 25 cents off their membership each month until their monthly fee reaches $7.00 a month! So, be it good will or mental incompetence, I suggest you take advantage of it A.S.A.P., and If you find a better deal anywhere else, be sure to let me know.
